There is talk of the bulls buying him out. If we renounce Black, we could have space for a trade. Would you do it?

If the Lakers could get an asset out of it somehow? Yeah! Doesn't sound like this is a FO priority right now.

We treat him well and ask him to be our LBJ ambassador next year, hows that for an asset?

I say no. I would only be interested if we could acquire Paul George, because we don't have a pick next year so need to be as competitive as possible. However, we can't realistically absorb George and Wade.

Having Wade does hinder some of the development of Ingram BUT......he can help us get Lebron.

I'd do it for an asset. We will need to sign veterans on 1-year deals anyways. Who knows. Maybe Wade would like living in LA so much that he would sign in 18-19 for a vet minimum deal.

If definately waiting for PG, absolutely. Brings legitimacy to the roster for other free agents. Maybe even makes some sway with LBJ.

Hmm, is he still a net positive?

We need guards, and I'm concerned the current guard-less roster will win 20 games and scare off PG. If Wade could help us get to 30 wins, why not? Especially if Chicago wants to give us a pick or something to take him off their hands.

I'd trade JC and Brewer for Wade to get more cap space for next summer.

expiring contract...could take pressure off the kids late game and as either primary or secondary creator on offense...why not?

Mostly cause he's expiring and I'd prefer not to start Josh Hart.

I think Wade improves our record w/o hindering young guys too much, and I'm not keen on sucking again next year

I would get Wade if we could trade Deng back to the Bulls along with Clarkson and maybe some late draft pick of some sorts. It would be a homecoming for Deng where he can play the twilight of his career in the city he called home for so many years. Then they can ship him off to the glue factory after he scores 7 points on his "Deng Day" finally.

And like I said in a previous post, Wade will only be with us for one year. DWade & his Hollywood wife will get to enjoy a year in LA. And if he likes it here and isn't riddled with too many injuries, maybe he can stay for a minimum salary, come off the bench, be a mentor, and help recruit Lebron in 2018.

Unless we can get a piece, I think I'd rather start JC and have Hart/Nwaba rotate in.
