Id take Beverly and Ariza for sure.
Trevor Ariza $7.4 - 1 year
Pat Beverley $10.54 for 2 years (TO in 18/19)
Both offer shooting and defense and veteran leadership.
But who do we offer ? |

Nobody. They need cap space. We should take Ariza, Bev and Capela.

I'd just use our cap space to take on as many expiring salaries as possible at the cost of future draft picks.
Houston - Lou Williams ($7M, 1 year); Trevor Ariza ($7.4M, 1 year)
Boston - Tyler Zeller ($8M, 1 year); Avery Bradley ($8.4M, 1 year)
Both should be active in the trade market. I'd take those players on one year rentals if they threw in draft picks. It would be funny if we took back Lou. If I was either team, I'd try to get us to take both of their respective players for a draft pick or two, and go after Blake Griffin.

1 year deals coming up! If Wade gets bought out, 1 year/18 million for the position of CLRO (Chief Lebron Recruiting Officer).
Hopefully they just sign players who can shoot. Please god, space the floor for Lonzo.

I wouldn't mind giving Iguodala 1yr/15 mil. I do not care about the money really. He can be good veteran presence for our team on one year. There is no chance that someone will offer him this money. I know its one year deal but anyway.
Also the guys I would try with our cap space on one year deal

Sefolosha - for the toughness but let say 1 yr/8 mil
Collison - 1yr/10 mil
Also there is one player I really like. Its Milos Teodosic. For us, Europeans, he is well known. Great player, really smart can create for himself and other. It would be great backup for Lonzo. To give stability and competition to Lonzo. Not really good defensively but also not bad. Great shooting ability. I do not know maybe some contract 1yr/6 mil or something similar. |
