This is the best grab in the bottom half of the first. Well done.

We grabbed a Ball.

Then we grabbed a Hart.

We got some real Kuzma

Is that what the kids call it nowadays?

How's he a steal when he was projected as a 2nd round pick?

Should've drafted White at 28 instead of trying to get cute and losing him to the Spurs.

Like LNJ?

A benchwarmer who scores 7ppg? Yeah, pretty much.

There's more to the game than scoring. Defense, IQ, winning mentality. Draymond was a 4ppg rookie from the 2nd round. He is arguably the GSW MVP.

he scores 10 now

First thing that popped in to my head is that hes the anti Clarkson. Shoots the 3 ball well and is a good defender. Even gets FTs at a better rate than JC. Not the athlete or ball handler or floater shooter that JC is, but we not lookinmg for that anyway. The obvious and solid pick for us.

If we don't get George, I would start him over Clarkson. Bring JC off the bench.

Does Hart have any PG skills? The only other PG we have, other than Lonzo, is Clarkson, who barring a trade probably starts at SG. Nwaba doesn't strike me as a PG either, but I suppose you can give the PG duties to Ingram while Lonzo is out and play Nwaba as more of a small slashing wing.

Why are u hating on all these picks? I'm one of the biggest pessimists on the board and even I don't go around calling people BUSTs on day 1. get out of here with that crap... find a new board.

Robert Horry is such a scrub. Averaged 7 PPG for his entire career and couldn't even crack 10 for the Lakers.

Hart looks fine, need another SG after losing Young...

Sad that the only reason he was drafted and rated so low is because he stayed in college a full four years (and graduated)...

I guess it is better to do one and done in college and then struggle for the first three years in the NBA...

Hopefully we can get a good look at him during the Summer League...

Hart’s Villanova teams went 129–17, won 4straight Big East regular-season titles, 2015 national title.

Villanova senior guard Josh Hart after his workout with Lakers: "You don’t have to groom me and see what happens." Confident, not cocky.

I like the kid already.

I was deeply concerned with our SG situation after moving Russell and Lou and I feel some relief that we went after a solid college player that can contribute early.

I've been skeptical of Hart's athleticism in the past when we only had the #28, but the fact that we traded down and grabbed another pick is icing. Rooting for the kid.

Feels like he could be the Derek Fisher to Lonzo's Kobe.

I really like the DFisher comparison in terms of heart (no pun) , grit. Hopefully shoots well, and converts when he recklessly drives.. lol

Amazed that so many fans here don't know Josh Hart's winning pedigree at Villanova. Led them to multiple Big East titles and the NCAA Championship. Dude is a WINNER who steps up in big games.

Big East POY. Defensive POY. Consensus First-Team All-American.

He's not just another player. He's a fierce competitor.

I'm really hoping that Lonzo turns out to be a great pickup for the Lakers, but I don't see anything "Kobe" about him. Let's not get ridiculous, here. Let's see how well Lonzo performs, by just being "Lonzo".

And, if you were referring more to his position on the team, when comparing him to Kobe, as opposed to his game, then I could possibly see that. Though, I think BI will prove to be the more dominant player, going forward.b

Nice pick. I see some George Hill/Danny Green in him.
