6'6 with a 6'11 wingspan. 20yo. i doubt he gets any playing time. definitely a project, but he's OUR project. _________________ speak it into existence |

Solid prospect with upside.
A good year or two in the G-League should work wonders for this kid. |

His selection followed the trend of the FO to draft older players that have playing defense as one of their strengths.
Luke/Magic/Rob/Ryan are TIRED of having one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA.

Lakers still need shooters and hopefully will address that need later on |

His defensive upside is tremendous. He's like a taller, on-ball version of Nwaba to me. Has also demonstrated some court nice vision from time to time. The good thing is they don't expect much from him, so I see a lot of g-league time. Maybe makes Nwaba redundant in the future, but we'll see. |

I think this kid can be our modern day version of Michael Cooper. He could possibly develop enough on the offensive end to keep a D honest while proving lock down D from a number of positions. You can see what the FO is doing. They are tired of prima donna kids who play no D and have an attitude of entitlement. |

I had a feeling he was our scouting departments type of guy for a late flier or undrafted FA.....I hope he shows well enough to compete for 15 man roster....or at least a 2 way. |

Good pickup. We went for experience and production in the late first round picks and followed it up with picking up a project with great measurables as a FA. Well done FO |

great! i love what nwaba brought defensively. the slot will go to the guy who hits the three point shot consistently. _________________ Darvin |

I would say it is Nwaba vs Dozier for a roster spot |

Get a shooting coach for this kid and don't let him leave the gym for the next 4 months. |

No Jackson but Dozier.
Really happy about this. Very good undrafted move. Is it just a make-camp deal? _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Good pickup, it's kind of unfair to place any expectations on these young guys coming in not selected in the Top 5. I'd rather them surprise us with their contribution, even if that means a 1 in 100 chance of being an All Star.
He's obviously got talent, and looks like a bit of hunger on the inside...
Good Luck PJ Dozier and welcome to the Lakers! |

Solid defense is good. I really like Nwaba, if Dozier can bring it on defense I'll like him too. Summer league is too short to get a real read on a guy like him, but training camp will be interesting. |
