I'm sure all of ya'll have either seen or heard about the Twitter fingers (Embiid & Simmons) going after the Ball family. Lopez better be ready to face Embiid and Randle better Show out vs Simmons. Ball already showed his ability to show up vs Fultz.

Balls and Hart will win the day

If ya'll are wondering what Ben Simmons problem is with Lonzo Ball, it goes two fold at this point.

First, his sister felt "alienated" by the "woman's clothing" controversy -_- and his sister asked that Ben dunk on him so hard his dad has to rescue him. Which is what Embiid echoed.

Secondly, Ben Simmons has been a long time Lakers fan his whole life, and Magic Johnson was his favorite player growing up before it became LeBron(similar to Ben Simmons). So much so he tried to force his way to the Lakers in the last draft, not working out for any team hoping that the Sixers would pass on him. Once the Sixers made it apparent they weren't going to pass on him regardless he finally went and worked out for them after denying them all summer.

However the player who is like a brother to him, that actually was on the Lakers, was D'Angelo Russell, they won championships at Montverde Academy and were very close, as were him and Joel Embiid who was also on Montverde Academy together. Where the colors were also.. Purple and Gold.

So basically they also get to watch their brother essentially, get traded away like nothing to make way, for you guessed it, Lonzo Ball.

So the bad blood doesn't come out of nowhere.

However that is what makes great storytelling and what will make the matchup so fun. Had Russell been traded for the 76ers instead we'd basically be having to face the Monteverde 76ers

C'mon man, Philly is so much farther along than us in terms of rebuilding.

Lonzo played more games last year than those two jackasses combined.

The most important ability an NBA player has is availability. Embiid has a long history of injuries. Big men with those types of injury issues have almost always had injury-plagued careers.

Before we say they're ahead of us in the rebuild, let's see those clowns actually get on the court and stay on the court.

Sounds like an episode of 'Real housewives of NBA players who will never have rings'. Personally, bring on the hate. This makes this upcoming season even more exciting knowing teams are gunning for us for whatever lame reason they have. We are not even proven yet with this new young core and already stuff is brewing. Love it. Bring it on!!

Lavar Ball is firing back at Embiid:

Quote:
Earlier in the week, Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid took to Instagram to share his feelings about the larger-than-life Ball patriarch. The 23-year-old simply said, “Man, f*** LaVar Ball.”

LaVar, never known to take the highroad, responded exactly how you would expect him to – by going after Embiid’s acumen.

“The reason he said that … his vocabulary is limited,” LaVar told TMZ Sports on Friday. “You gotta use cuss words when you don’t have no intellect. … He’s not intelligent at all. He’s worried about me? He should be worrying about playing.”

But he wasn’t done there. Ball continued, “I got three words for him: Can’t. Play. At. All. Oh shoot, that’s four.”

It will be nice to whoop Philly next year not just because of this, but also because Philly is the worst big city in our nation. It is a cesspool of surly playa haters.

I wouldn't rule that out.

Also, look for Simmons to miss 30 games after an ankle tweak.

More worried about the youth movement in Minnesota and the Celtics than Philly. Those are the two teams you got to worry about after the Warriors get older.

The match ups are going to be exciting. I think Ingram has the easiest match up. DARIO VS Ingram should be in Brandon's favor.

Lopez 20ppg 35% 3pt% 5 attempts Embiid 20ppg 37% 3pt% 3 attempts
(Backups Zubac Bryant VS Okafor)
Randle a PF who's a beast on the boards and gets out on the fast break VS Simmons who does the same but has better passing. Right now I have to believe Randle is the better scorer.
(Nance Kuzma VS Amir)

Ingram/deng Brewer VS Saric/Anderson

KCP VS Reddick
Clarkson VS McConnell
BALL VS Fultz

Thanks for bringing this tread back after weeks of inactivity. We don't care about the Sixers. They are beneath us. Their fans. Their team. Their organization. Their goofy, can't win coach. And their players. Check any Philly thread, and every few comments are about the Lakers. Now just because some injured Sixers start running their mouths we have to make this into something? Some of their fans actually think "we" are the ones obsessed with them, and "we" tried to tank like them, but they are actually better at it. They think "we" are the ones who can't stop talking about them. Not true. If the Lakers are the sun in the sky, then the Sixers are early man, rolling in the ground, making grunting noises, & pointing at us, praying and begging us not to hurt them.

Sorry, but we out drafted them last season, and we out drafted them this season. Nothing more needs to be said.

I think this is over. Lavar brought out his 2×4 and ended it.

Lonzos no response to this shows who won this battle. Hes focusing on getting better every day and preparing for the next tournament game. He sent Lavar to deal with the Philly stooges and Lavar brought the ether

Just like he sent Caruso to take care of Fox and then rewarded him with a contract.
