Guys this is admittedly off topic but it's something I've been wondering about for a while.
Summer league last year some were saying Russell was clearly the best player in the competition. And he did have some very good games. I think it was their 3rd game where they had a big lead, but the offense dried up big and we lost. Can anyone remind me who the guy was on the opposition that lit the place up? He must have been 6'7 or thereabouts and we rotated several guys on him but nobody could stop him. Including Russell. I've always wondered what happened to him. Whether he got picked up in the draft.
Cheers
Jordan McRae, 26 year old third year player. He was waived by the Cavs in March after appearing in 37 games for them.
It was not a 76ers scrub guard that gave us a lot of trouble?
Amazing that your obsession hasn't ended yet.
I'd call it your obsession because I'm just trying to remember a player that gave us a lot of trouble on pick and roll situations where it is more about team defense/communication than man defense.
Says the poster who basically didn't post until the 2015 draft...and when Oak wasn't selected, has posted about 90% about a guy he doesn't have an "obsession" with.
Later, Dlo. I'm confident you'll be successful in Brooklyn. _________________ LeBron, AD, & _________. Stay tuned.
"...there was a time when the Israelites were wandering in the desert and all of a sudden, bread came down from heaven,” Pelinka said. “That’s kind of what today feels like for us to have KCP join.”
I'am still pretty sick about this. You don't see a lot of 20, 21 years old with that skillset. He wasn't perfect but he could've became really good if given the time.
I'm sure dlo gonna put up #s in bk but 2 coaching staffs and magic saw red flags that made him expendable even tho he has a lot of talent. I blame nick young for the young guys not being serious about the game. Don't blame them young rich athletes on THE LA team. Not everyone is built for this hopefully clarkson is out next.

Moz and DLO will be introduced by the Nets on Monday at 10:30 EST if anyone's interested
That would be a good time as any to lock this thread up (or move it to general NBA).
D'Angelo was probably my favorite player over the last two seasons. He certainly wasn't perfect, but what young rookie/soph's are? I'll certainly tune into the occasional Nets game to check up on his progress, and I wish him the best.
I hope the trade works out being the right move for the Lakers, and I don't wish D'Angelo any ill will to make it look better in comparison.
