I agree. Team is such a wildcard. If Brandon brings that aggression and upgraded game into the season and Julius has a jumpshot now......I really think we could be a sleeper for a playoff spot. Utah, Portland and Memphis doesn't really scare me like years past and the Clippers are not constructed well to me . Our defense is the biggest question mark. I couldn't even watch full games at time's last year because it was so bad. Hope KCP sets a example for some dog in these guys on that end.

if Ingram was ready to be a 20 point scorer this year, yes. But I think Ingram needs another year before he's ready, and Lonzo DEFINITELY is gonna need another one.

So no we're not legit in 2017, or 2018 for that matter.

But keep this core together and let them grow and we may be legit in 2020 and that's a pretty important free agency in and of itself.

I expect most of the improvements to come from Ingram's and Randle's developed games

I don't think we are. This team is young and still has a lot of weaknesses.

I think Lonzo will inflate everyone's stats.
I see Lopez as a 22-24 ppg scorer for us and I think Randle, KCP and possibly Ingram will all average over 15 ppg.
Then there's also Clarkson, Nance, Zubac, Brewer, Deng...

That is legit. That team can contend for a playoff spot and possiblu win 38-42 games IMO.

This team's winning will be dependent on how randle will do this year. It's his 4th year, so he has higher expectations. If hes consistent scorer and plays some defense, we will improve greatly

I think it's more dependent on our overall 3 point shooting and team defense, which Randle is of course a big part of.

Agreed, it'll be at least 2019-2020 before Ingram and Lonzo are All-Star level, if not a little longer.

Losing DLo, Lou, and Swaggy is a helluva lot of scoring and outside shooting to make for.

Define "legit."

I think we have a good chance, with KCP, to be a 32 win team, maybe a bit more. Of course so much depends on how Lonzo/Ingram/Jules improve this year.

But KCP makes me feel so much better.

I never understood this notion. My logical side tells me that even though they did score alot it was inneficently so we really dont lose much. The spacing ... ummm they were 3pt chuckers we now have spotters

We could have been a 30 win team last year, wasn't it for the tanking. I can see this team around 32-35 wins, depending on what Lonzo and Ingram have to show us.

It's a fair point though. They had gravity in the sense that you couldn't leave them out on the perimeter. We have Lonzo who is shooting something like 15% from 3s so far in SPL. KCP is a good addition though he's not a 40% 3 point shooter. Brook will also add a new dimension.

Absolutely, but not playoff bound in the West. We'd be like 6th seed in the east.

How many wins for Magic to scrape the 2 max players plan?

Imagine this team wins 40 games. I'd seriously consider re-signing Randle and KCP and try to bring PG13 only.

Yeah, if Lonzogram ball out, could be in the 35 win range, and will really be attractive to PG13 + other max player.

Lakers had their best win streak in 4 years with those guys (sans Russell) out of the lineup. Defense counts for something in this league ya know.

It depends on what you mean by legit. I think we'll likely be better than last year.

Definitely more watchable. They will compete on a nightly basis.

Legit? No. But better than last year.

I think 30-35 wins is the right range. Tbats what I said last year too, but we have a lot of new pieces particularly in the starting lineup.

This time, I hope we get better as the season progresses, not worse.

The Vegas line is now not completely insane, I will put it that way. But I still have us right under/at 30 wins.
