This guy is our Kurt Rambis-- pure grit and hustle. Their respective games and positions are completely different, but you can draw parallels in that they are unorthodox in appearance for an NBA player.... these are the types that become INSTANT fan favorites and provide a spark for the team and do all the little things that go a long way.

Glad the Lakers offered him a two-year deal on a two-way contract, having him in the Gatorade Development League affiliate or carrying him on the roster is smart. He seems really comfortable and played with good hustle. I hope he can do it on the big stage with NBA talent.

Kurt was tough, could box out, set a screen, and finish a bit. Caruso brings legit playmaking and shooting skill, though we'll have to see if it translates to the NBA level.

Also, love that euphemism: "she was a bit unorthodox in appearance, but she was really sweet."
