That dunk to seal the game might have been the most clutch thing a Bryant wearing a Lakers jersey has ever done

I got nostalgia when the announcer said Bryant for three.

So far but the best is yet to come

T-Bryant showed up big-time again tonight!

10 points, 8 rebs, 2 assists, 1 block. His energy and enthusiasm is refreshing.

If Zubac continues to struggle, Bryant might get a lot of minutes as our backup C.

Shorter Bynum. I will take it with a second round pick.

How can anyone compare him to Bynum? He's reaction time and quickness is ten times that of Bynum. If Bynum had this motor he would have been the next Shaq.

No way. Bynum was no lumbering stiff, especially the magical unicorn 2007-08 Bynum.

T-Bryant played good defensively for the most part. He was very active and recorded one block.
Even though he was a little slow covering on one of Heild's late treys, his close-out defense on Heild's last shot attempt was very solid.

T-Bryant is fun to watch. He's enthusiastic, has a motor, a soft touch on his outside shot and a great attitude.
He hustles, plays defense and is a more than willing rebounder.

Once he develops more consistency he will become a good NBA player (give him a year or two).

Then ...... Watch out for the Big Mamba

I hope we give bryant a regular contract so that we can give the last 2-way to Caruso!

he also seems to be a decent to good passer for a rookie big. you know bigs a lot of times have that delayed reaction when its time to make a nice pass. not so with TBryant.

The Big Mamba has got to work on those hands. He plays with a lot of intensity and makes his presence known. Overall he had a decent game; 5 points 3 rebounds in twelve minutes.

If they use him in pick and pop situations more, he won't be fumbling so much. Has to do with catching in traffic/contact simultaneously.

So was he signed yet ?

emplay said something about how they could sign him to a 4 year deal due to the nwaba waiving, but I haven't heard anything about that happening

we have his rights, so they are just preserving all cap space until they are sure a trade or something may happen that changes the situation.

Good point; hopefully the coaches will tweak some things to allow him to be more efficient.

Sometimes catching a slick ball without any rubber grips helps.

That is a good way to work on it.
It's going to take a concerted effort on his and the staffs part to work and develop his hands.

He can score efficiently and has a nice stroke but he is not good at creating his own shot.
Therefore IMO playing with Lonzo Ball is probably an early career-saver for him once he improves his hands in this area.

He isn't very quick and not really explosive either which limits him defensively but he makes up for some of this with hustle and grit. Plus he is not afraid to bang.
In due time and heavy G-League minutes this kid could turn out to be really nice 5.
