If he's hitting 37% from 3-point range, I don't see how the coaching staff could do the logical gymnastics required not to make him the #1 PF in minutes. Shooting makes you the superior player.

He makes one of Randle or Nance expendable. The Klay comparison is a good one if he can continue this hot shooting in the real season. I think the Pacers messed up big time by not trading PG to us.

I wouldn't quite yet until he proves it in a few games of the real NBA season. Kuz and Ball does have great chemistry already and need to be on court together as much as possible. It would have been nice to see Igram develop some of that chemistry with Ball as well.

I did the same thing. They hated the Dlo trade at the onset before knowing how good Kuzma is. They are beside themselves right now and most are saying 'same old Nets' in regards to another stupid trade.

Kuzma is taking some of the heat off the DLO trade... which is good for us since the deal went through.

I love seeing the chemistry between Ball and Kuzma... like the play where Kuzma lasered the ball to Lonzo at the top of the key for a 3. Nice!

If Magic doesn't land FA next summer it was bonehead trade. Won't matter what Dlo does. Why would you trade for capspace when you can't even use it?

Dlo widowers might as well go root for his team, the Brooklyn Nets.

Why keep all three?
So one of them cannot get minutes?

He will definitely have ice in those veins when the east coast winter hits.

playing Kuzma down a position would work out about as well as playing Deng down a position has worked for us. He's a 4.

Playing Kuzma as a wing isn't the best plan but his versatility lets you pair him with another versatile forward to great results. He, Ingram and Nance would be an amazing passing front court with great switchability (though questionable rebounding and unproven shooting). You could swap Nance fo Randle in that trio if Jules improves his shooting and rotation.

I think Randle will flourish playing alongside Ball. It'll reduce Randles turnovers trying to create for others. I hope Randle works on catching passes because I remember him fumbling passes to him.

That's partly on him and partly based on the team. Without Lonzo in there, the ball movement just stopped. There was way more one on one play, which isn't Kuzma's - he isn't a one on one player. He's a cutter, spot up shooter, offensive rebounder and transition player. Gets his scores in the creases.

For good, he's not a ball stopper and for bad, he's not a guy you can give the ball to and say "get us a score." He's capable of doing the latter, but not consistently with the efficiency you'd want from a player you ask that from.

Kuzma has the opportunity to be a great 3 and D player at the 3/4 spots. The Robert Horry role.

He might be the best shooter on the roster. What a steal, a 3 and D stretch 4 at the end of the first round.

So the mere mention of the guys name warrants a suspension? I think you need to pull back on this stuff, it resembles a power trip.

If this comment warrants a suspension, I'll take it with pride.

Even though he needs a passing PG around him to be the most effective, it doesn't take away his ability to catch-and-shoot and catch-and-finish

We totally didn't see this coming when we were planning for PG13. Now we have an "ugly" problem of having too many good guys playing at the same position. Kuzma playing backup to PG13 feels like such a waste since Kuz fits into what Luke is trying to run so well.

If Kuzma plays the regular season this year like he did in SL, I don't see how he wouldn't start at PF next year. Ingram has SF on lockdown. That leaves PG13...

Its telling people who have a different opinion than you to go root for another team, and clearly making such a statement in an antagonistic manner. It's not about DLO, its about the response. Sorry you can't see the distinction. If you have a problem with it, PM me or another mod. Thanks.

He is from Flint & plays with that chip on his shoulder.
Kuzma has major upside. His stroke is deadly!

It's fairly obvious what got him suspended. One guy made a basketball post and the guy replied with a jibe saying DLO widower rather than countering with basketball points. I got suspended once for crossing the line last season and took it without playing victim. Mods haven't done anything different here.

I was born in Flint (family moved to SoCal when I was 4yo) so I am especially proud of this kid.

Man am I pulling for him and do believe he could be the steal of the draft.

Although he looks nothing like him from the neck up, Kuz reminds me quite a bit of Glen Rice (Michigan Wolverines baby) with his physical mannerisms and the way he plays the game .

What a stroke.

Smooth as silk!

20.8 Pts ( 48% / 45% ), 5.8 Reb, 3.0 Ast, 1.2 Stl, 1.5 Blk ( that's right, he is averaging 1.5 blocks per game ) 6 games

Wow!

Last 3 games:

23.3 Pts ( 53% / 55% ), 3.3 Reb, 3.0 Ast, 1.3 Stl, 1.7 Blk ( lower Reb, but the shooting is amazing )
