Damn Ball is really good. I just wish he ended up anywhere but LA.

Quote:
Lonzo's passing is contagious.

Quote:
Can't stand it when Smith takes god awful shots like that.

Quote:
Anyone that though Ball was bad never really saw him play.

Quote:
Is none of these clowns ever going to miss?

Quote:
It just sucks when scrubs who will never play a minute in this league turn into Steph Curry.

Quote:
Ball dominating the court

Quote:
Motley stinking it up out there. Bad positioning, hands of Erick Dampier.

Quote:
Lakers have a ton of shooters. It is ridiculous how many shots all their players make. Half of them shoot with their eeyes closed, behind their bacck... swish...

If Ball and DSJ switched teams... Lonzo might average 2 assists. The shooting on the Mavs is that bad.

Quote:
The hate on Lakers summer league squad is funny

Quote:
I think all the people here that were hating on Ball are hilarious. DSJ is incredible but Ball is the real deal too. Hating him because of his dad is dumb.

Quote:
Ball is a special player. Those that talk down his game don't recognize the special IQ and feel he has for the game. Mavs look like garbage, and Ball is carving them up with perfect passing and shooting.

Quote:
Ball is better than DSJ right now.

Quote:
putting d smith jr on lonzo this game was a bad idea

Quote:
Kuzma ain't no joke either.

Quote:
Oh my God... Let's talk about Lonzo's shoes for 4 more days please a week wasn't enough already.

Actually, if Ball switched teams, he'd still have over 10 assists a game, and we'd all be salty because we would all want a guy like that on our team.

Ball always seems to be surrounded by good shooters anywhere he plays....

I believe its one of those intangibles that cannot be measured because it seems when he's on the floor, he boosts their confidence, which in turns boosts shooting, hustle, etc.

He's like a cheat code in a way. Everyone else's stats go up.

More like Lonzo would still average 10+ assists because he actually makes the team around him better.

How else are our players making shots?

OK I realize this is a Laker board but DSJ looks like Joe Johnson and plays like Steve Francis.

I can totally see DSJ as Steve Francis 2.0.

Which is not a knock on Smith, Francis in his best year was a baller.

Just...not a BIG Baller like Lonzo will be.

So apparently do the Mavs Fans! They've anointed him the post Dirk "Franchise" already!

Opposing fans won't be able to hate on Lonzo for long, everyone loves a good passer who doesn't dominate the ball

in 2k, ball better have the Hall of Fame Dimer Badge as a rookie:

Quote:
Dimer – An elite passer known for hitting teammates in the correct position to score.

With how much passing sucks in 2K games, HOF badge is the only way passing doesn't get totally broken.

2K has a lot of work to do, especially with that mechanic. Trying to do outlet passes is a nightmare in those games so Lonzo should at least have a hof badge there.

Thanks for the QFTOS! Mavs fans very respectful of Lonzo, not as salty as expected.

And yes, had Lonzo played on the Dallas squad he'd still be getting 10+ assists and their shooters would've been amazing last night. Spacing, consistently getting open shots, confidence. The Ball Effect.
