smh. Article headline says injury but the actual article on states what we already knew last night that his calf was tight so he rested.

Regardless, Lonzo's health way more important than pride of winning SPL.

Did Brandon Ingram ever recover from his leg cramp?

No knock on Brandon, I'm sure he'd way rather play. FO being VERY cautious here. Either that or they've rested Brandon to get a better look at Kuzma?

I'd like to see what Hart can add for this summer league team, although it's been kinda fun watching Caruso and Thomas tough it out against these other squads.

I really never got it....a cramp is a cramp...it is just a muscle deficiency of fluids or minerals....it should have been resolved on the same evening it happened.

Portland had 2 bigs playing very effectively together to beat Memphis, along with Garcia, who's a DLeague fixture like Vander Blue, experienced enough to play very effectively at a summer league level.

I don't think anyone they've faced to this point has forced them to run in transition defense all game long. I hope Ball's calf is loosened up and he's able to play.

Man, bring Ingram back for this final. I know it's a meaningless SPL but why not? Lonzo/Ingram/Kuz can bring this home. WE can hang it in the Clippers lockerroom.

I'm sure BI is fine. If this was the regular season, he would have played in the overtime game when he got cramp. It's great that the FO is being cautious with our young guys. There's no reason to put these guys in a situation where random dudes are chaotically going all out to get a spot on an NBA roster.

IF they sat Ingram down for cramps, wouldn't they be shutting Lonzo tonight too?

I would love to see both play in the finals game.

If Lonzo plays tonight he'll have played more games than any of the other top 10 draftees. Tatum also played 6 games but half were in Utah and there was a break between Utah and LV SPL.

Lonzo's also averaged 7 more mpg (32.5) than DSJ (25.9) over their 6 games. The only top 10 draftee who averaged more minutes than Lonzo was Jackson (35).

1. Fultz (3 games) 2 UT/1 LV
2. Ball (6 games) LV
3. Tatum (6 games) 3 UT/3 LV
4. Fox (4 games) LV
5. Jackson (5 games) LV
6. Isaac (3 games) ORL
7. Markenaan (3 games) LV
8. Ntilikina (0 games)
9. Smith Jr. (6 games) LV
10. Collins (3 games) LV

Would love to see this happen! I really don't understand why Ingram is not playing after resting for so long. Are they sitting him out of the practices too? One explanation I can think of is that Kuzma has exceeded expectations playing a similar role, so they want to see what they have with him. Another possibility is that Ingram has been dominating everyone in practice, so they do not need to see anything more from him.

I recall hearing the day after the cramp that Ingram was going through full contact practices. They're just not letting him play in actual games.

It might not even be a cautionary thing anymore. My thinking is similar to yours in that they're just seeing what Kuzma and some of the other guys have to offer.

I sincerely hope Lonzo plays tonight, but with the extremely cautious front office we have now, I am doubting he does. If he doesn't, can you please have Ingram play for at least a half. Its basketball, its what he does and it helps to play in a meaningful game every so often.

Caruso looked terrible last night, so I don't like our chances if Zo sits out tonight.

Side note, Thomas looks to be one of the better shooters we have. Hope we can get him on the Defenders at least.
