For the Iife of me I can't seem to find the stats per game averages for players on the NBA.com Summer League page. Anyone know where it is to check out these guys SL stats? |
http://www.nba.com/summerleague/2017/stats#vegas |
Thanks. Sucks they don't show all the stats like 3p% and only have it listed as league leaders but not have a breakdown of teams. Wanna see how Matt Thomas, Travis Wear are averaging in 3p% _________________ |

I doubt they change their mind and let Ingram play tonight. Magic (our royal sideline court jester) would just give Jud the slash throat and "he's safe" gestures again.
Would be nice to see both Lonzo and Hart play if they have recovered from their ailments. We'll need good games from both Zu and Bryant as well to counteract their bigs. |

Man, this would be a good opportunity to just see BI/Lonzo show star potential and a close out/killer instinct. It's SPL, but you rarely get these kinds of opportunities this young. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Paul George is watching every single Lakers SPL game too, he even tweeted about it a few days ago. LeBron even saw Lonzo live. _________________ |

This is a meaningless game. I hope they hold Ball out. No need to risk injury. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

I can't remember where I heard or read it but a couple entities (trainer/coach/Magic?) were going to make a decision Monday morning based on how he looks. I imagine the buck stops with Magic "Buck" Johnson. |

If there is no real tissue damage, both Ingram and Ball should be available to play. I don't see how this game is any different from playing a hard scrimmage in practice. Ball's style is very efficient and almost effortless, if you wanted to be cautious, you could just have him run the floor, tell him not drive to the rim that much and even sag and play more of a zone on defense. I don't get why they were worried about Ingram at all unless he has a worse injury that they don't want public... or they wanted him leaving on a high, and let the league worry about him all summer.
Let's hope they win... we need to instill that mystique and winning mentality of the Ball Movement. |

This is a meaningless game. It's a summer league game. You don't jeopardize your franchise player's health if there is any doubt. For selfish reasons I hope he plays but if he doesn't I can understand why. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

^Yeah, if there's no real damage, let them play, and there's no responsibility to give if someone gets hurt. Part of the game. And I agree that there is some psychological significance to winning Summer League with the "Ball Movement." |

If he says he's fine then just let him play. Guys can get injured in these meaningless games just as they can get injured in meaningless practices just as they can get injured in meaningless bowling games (Bynum). You can't put bubble wrap around these guys and protect them 24/7. |

Well I believe that is part of the decision making process. If there is any doubt I'm sure they keep him out. If he plays then he has been given a "clean bill" of health. So, I leave it up to those close to the situation and will not second-guess them on that. |

At the chance of your franchise player getting injured. Yeah let's go out there and win that all important summer league title. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Absolutely. I think training staff will do all they can to get him ready to play. With his competitive nature I am sure he wants to be out there. I will trust the medical professionals on this one. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Yeah but he already has a calf strain, It's up to the training staff on this one. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

It's not like we are a playoff team this year - for the Lakers as a franchise it is chip or bust and this is our chance to win a chip this year. _________________ one dog goes that way the other dog goes the other way |

Have to agree. This is NOT a meaningless game.
More important than any game played since Kobe retired.
A change in possible shift in the mindset of the organization. |
