Ball is a style setter, a style Luke wants. At UCLA, his teammates bought into the style and shared the ball even when he was on the bench. The Lakers' offensive rating is bound to raise. Defense is another thing though. |

honestly
we're gonna be decent as hell..
Lonzo is great at running an offense and he's practically out there playing with bums. No disrespect to our Summer League roster, love em... but realistically outside of Kuzma, none of these guys will be in our rotation.
I say that to say this.. Lonzo running an offense with Ingram (Who is CLEARLY ready to breakout) and Pope who could end up being our biggest weapon on offense (no, seriously) not to mention Lopez, and even Clarkson when he decides to show up.. Randle... Dude... We're gonna be a LOT better than people think and I'm freaking excited. |

In one of Buechler's interviews, they asked him what has been the biggest difference in Lonzo's improvement. He said his familiarity with the offense and that he's able to call his own plays now. Give the coaches credit for building the car, but Lonzo is the one in the driver seat. He's the reason they're more organized since he's already calling the plays. |

I'm amazed at how bad they played without him. I think he is the engine of the team. I give the coaches some credit, they got the guys to buy in after Lonzo didn't return to the game. Of course it took a some of third and some of fourth to get them to buy in to sharing again. |

Living in Colorado, I only get the ESPN feed. They have shown several live feed of Judd talking to the team during timeouts. He's been very positive and his messaging and does a really good job Of keeping the players motivated. A couple of the diagrams he's drawn up for plays were well thought out and executed after the timeout. So I do think Coach Judd does get some props. _________________ Keep winning! |
