I wonder if they all went to dinner together afterwards and did Magic picked up the bill? Will Magic & Rob hold exit interviews for all the players? It'll be nice for the other players to get some feedback and know what they need to work on to have longevity in the G League and possibly the NBA.

The group is simply unbelievable.

Heck, even the biased & hated ESPN has to concede and provide the story-line in LV as:

1. Who was the best rookie you saw at summer league?
Ball
2. Who was the best veteran you saw at summer league?
Ingram
3. Who was the biggest surprise at summer league?
Kuzma

You can't do better than that.

It's easily the best Laker Pro League team in 17 years.

Our Summer League team wasnt just the best summer league team the lakers have ever had that I can remember.

But it was the best summer league team I've seen ever among all nba summer league teams.

Other teams have had top notch players. But these guys bought into the offense and understood it rather quickly(Zo, Caruso, Kuuz) obviously helped. BUt this is pretty crazy. They looked like they've been playing together for years once they got rolling.

Who put this group together?

WE had shooters, a hint of shot blocking. Guys smart enough to play spot defense in tight situations when you needed one stop.

after losing a lot of guys (PJ, BI, Hart, Zo)

1996 Summer League with Kobe, Fisher and Travis Knight?
solid individuals with solid play in the spl. but i dont recall them looking like such a cohesive unit. these guys looked like they played together before. This is something that happens once in a while even in pickup ball. If you just get lucky and run into a group of guys that are about that "move the ball" life and guys are hitting their shots. It can become a beautiful thing. but how often does that happen with complete strangers? almost never. same goes for the SPL.

It was a greatly constructed team.

This team was perfectly built for modern basketball. Bigs that can run and shoot, guards that pushed the pace. They were watchable even without Lonzo.
This is what saw. I need to know who put the squad together? thats some nice summer league GMing. lol.

I'm shocked we won the championship game.
And I'm surprised the Blazers didn't try to trap Alex more. The other guys can't dribble The team hit 3s at an amazing clip.

Was it the coaches enthusiasm of "awesome. awesome. awesome"?
Or was it the passing?
