Team defense is effort and communication. I expect monumental improvement in both areas.

Finally, some optimism!!

I'm with you! TOP 10

Lol... me thinks you don't know Dr. Laker. That's him setting up the front office and the team for lofty, unrealistic expectations so that he can slam them for not meeting them later.

That said, I appreciate your optimism, both about the team and Dr. Laker.

Even assuming we jump into the top 15 or top 20 in offensive efficiency, we'll need to get into the top 25 in defensive efficiency to get past 35 wins. If we were top 20 in both offensive and defensive efficiency, we're a playoff team. The only team who was top 20 in both off/def efficiency last year and didn't make the playoffs was Charlotte.
interesting. why did charlotte miss out? injuries?

Guilty as charged! Don't know Dr Laker. For the most part, I don't even look at the LG names (other than for attribution).... Having read your comment, i shall be vigilant!

Still hoping for Top 10 in defense!

I voted 21-25 but upon reflection that is a homer vote.

Most likely Bottom 5. Unless KCP really is as advertised and we can get Kuzma into the game for Randle.
