I know the Drew league doesn't mean much but Randle has been ballin there. His head does appear to get a basket level now and his first step is quicker than ever. Hopefully this translates to the season. One thing for sure he'll benefit a lot running the floor with Ball.

In high school he had dunks like that. Look up the old mixtapes. His head was at the rim often

What reasons prevent him from getting up like that in (NBA) game situations like guys such as Blake do with regularity?

Broke his leg in his first game, rehabbed for two years.

Honestly I am expecting him to show that athleticism this year.

Calipari doesn't want him to play this way in college.

he changed his lifestyle and what he eats as well as getting in better shape, that will unlock some athletiscm we have not seen

these guys work out so much they can eat like crap and still be in good shape.

What Magic wants is these guys to watch what they eat and be in great shape which will make us a much more athletic team and have more stamina tahn other teams

I can see us winning alot more games in the 4th qtr this year because we literally ran other teams off the court

I think Brook will open up the court for Jules.

He had some difficulty finishing at the rim when help defense came via the center. With Brook, he will spread the floor more for Jules.

Things are looking up for the Lakers:

Randle playing fantastic in the Drew League
Ball showing that he doesn't belong in the SL as the same with Ingram
2018 is the year we might be heading towards another Lakers dynasty

Can we all *** party?

Jules did recently say his body hasn't felt this good since around 2012. That was back when he was doing stuff like that in high school.

This is great news for us

Good drew league game against Harden, but to be an option for a team planning to sign two max players he has to start posting 45 agains drew league competition winning games like Harden did, the FO has made it clear that they arent saving money for good players, they are saving it for superstars.

I'm sure that the Lakers don't want Randle going full boar in the Drew League.

We saw what just happened to Brandon Knight. His injury came at a pro-Am game.

That's a huge reason some NBA players don't go full boar in Drew League.

I'm positive that the Lakers front office doesn't give a damn about how their players perform in the Drew League.

Also any contract Julius gets from the Lakers wont just be about how he plays next year but also how he projects to play beyond that.

Randle Represents In Drew League Clash of NBA Talent

Quote:
Julius Randle suited up for the former alongside ex-teammate Nick Young and Golden State’s JaVale McGee. On the other end of the floor stood Houston’s James Harden and Bobby Brown, as well as top-ranked high school recruit Marvin Bagley.

Me neither, I bought Harden's name because it is the kind of impact Julius has to show if he wants to stay here.

Julius is a physical monster, he has to show basketball skills to prove he is a keeper, I mean, over players like LeBron, Paul George and Cousins.

The competition is hard, but this franchise is about championships and all time greats, that is what we should expect from every lottery pick.

Playing with Nick Young and DeRozan, you don't expect them to pass the ball much.

No he doesn't. They're going to make their decision on him in a year, not the coming days. Whether he averaged 50 and 30 or came out and laid eggs in every single statistical category in every single Drew League he played in, it would still have zero impact on their decision a year from now. The only thing that will matter is how he plays in the real league during the real season.

Jules just might be the biggest difference maker in our 2 max plan.

Assuming we get two maxes, he's the only not cap exception/vet min player we even have a chance at signing.
