Anyone into these things? Ever since I started wearing them I can't stop buying them . I've bought 5 pairs since last year.

The latest addition to my collection!

If you guys don't know these are probably the most comfortable shoes you'll ever wear in your life.

I've introduced it to many friends who work in hospitals and they couldn't thank me enough.

Yeah, I have a few, plus countless other pairs with boost (NMDs, Pure Boosts, Energy Boost, Cosmic boost, etc.).

#boostislife

In terms of comfort, I still think the original pure boosts are more comfortable, but they never had the hype of the ultra boosts. NMDs, on the other hand, aren't comfortable at all (the boost is really hard), but they have an aesthetic appeal.

But yeah, adidas struck gold with that technology. It was something the German chemical company BASF developed a few years ago and had no use for, and adidas then bought the rights to use it in their shoes. And the rest is history. Adidas' market share has been rising steadily in the footwear market, and has doubled(!) since last year in the United States, mostly because of the hype surrounding boost (and Kanye West).

Full disclosure, I'm an adidas fanboy. I lived just a few miles from their headquarters in Germany for many years. I also grew up playing soccer and adidas was the dominant brand back then.

Never tried the Ultra Boosts. I have a pair of Glide Boosts that I use for running. The Boost in those is beneath a layer of firmer foam, so the softness of the Boost isn't really noticeable, but they are responsive.

I loved them when I first got them (the 3.0's) but I started developing foot problems on just my left foot. Similar to this guy -

I'm still trying to figure out how and why.

There's a 20% off coupon from the Adidas website:

TWENTYOFF

Not sure what works. I'm going to play around with it.

Its the miadidas rainbow knit. You needed a code and they let you customize it. I chose to keep it simple but added my own laces. A lot of them got scalped and are now being sold for 350-450 on ebay(including fakes).
