Lebron is his favorite player, no big deal. Every Laker rookie gets asked about Kobe.
Yeah it's not a big deal at all. I don't agree but the kid grew up a LBJ fan no need to lie just to appease Laker fans. I just don't see how any real Lakers fan over the age of 21 could say Bron is better. He's not.

Pretty much. Lonzo's generation basically witnessed Kobe's downward spiral simultaneously with Lebron's rise. Even the year Kobe tore his achilles, that was the best he looked in about 2 or 3 years. If he played in an earlier era, before PRP treatment existed, I think he would've been forced to retire about 4 or 5 years sooner than he did.

Kobe is the better shot maker, but overall I'd take Bron.
and you'd only win 3 rings compared to 5 and that's if you have him in the weak East. Kobe had to go through a slaughterhouse in the West beating the most 50 win teams more than doubling LBJ in that respect.
Kobe did that all on his own? No, the teams the Lakers built did. Using team success to compare individuals is just wrong. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

Yea. No one knows.
One thing would have been interesting.
What if Kobe played in the weak East? I would have hated it.
But he would have killed there.

I disagree, rings matter.....and its not like Lebron has not been on extremely talented teams for most of his career.

As @PeterVecsey1 stated on podcast: Phil Jackson wanted to deal Kristaps Porzingis for #1 pick to draft Lonzo Ball.
It's Peter Vescey, so take it with a grain of salt.
But dang! Thank you Dolan.
Wonder if Boston wouldve done it?
We should be thankful that Boston/Philly deal went down. Boston would have undoubtedly traded that pick for Kristaps.
They rate Tatum pretty high. They would've taken him #1. Tatum + top lottery pick next year is a better haul than just Porky.
I doubt they would have taken that Philly deal over Kristaps. Kristaps helps them now and has already proven that he can play in the NBA. Tatum's got potential, but there's always a chance that a pick may bust. I think they would have taken the sure thing.
Agree. Ainge would take porzingis in a heartbeat. My guess is Dolan vetoed that idea and fired Phil.
And to think we could have picked him 2 years ago but instead picked a guy to allow us to regain the cap space which we already had. Kill me fam.
Lonzo Ball does not seem like a Phil Jackson type pick to me.
Given his style, he'd fit in the triangle offense pretty easily from the 1 position anyway. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:
