He seems like the quintessential one to me. Big, smart, unselfish. Kobe and Michael don't seem like Phil/triangle players to me.

They probably aren't. They both clashed with Phil and hate the triangle but accepted it later.

And are the only reason it ever worked, because it requires an exceptionally talented shot creator for whenever the team fails to get a shot from triangle

Lonzo picks Lebron over Kobe.

At least he's honest.

I love Kobe and Lebron is great. It is reasonable for people to argue both sides of debate. Lonzo chose the unpopular side that all.

For sure. I'am just glad he's honest. It makes sense for a pass first guy to pick James over Kob anyway.

Lonzo is laser-like focused on building a winning team. Already helping recruit LeBron. I love it.

This is what I thought... he wants to play with the guy and Lebron seems to be an ego-maniac.

Ready-Made Rookies: Ten NBA Newcomers Worth Watching

Quote:
No rookie commanded more attention than Ball this summer, and the Big Baller Brand train should pick up steam once he suits up in NBA games that actually count. Ball is a mesmerizing playmaker with uncanny timing and accuracy. Even if he’s never able to consistently manufacture shots off the dribble or make more than a third of his threes, Ball’s ability to push the pace and rifle on-target dimes will have plenty of fans defaulting to the Lakers as their go-to League Pass team by the end of his rookie season.

I don't usually think Thompson is funny but that was pretty good.

Lonzo based on age, can relate more to lebron.

I hear little kids yell curry when shooting when I still yell "Kobe"

Just different times

Not just age, but playing style.

By the way, Ingram's favorite player is Durant and Russell was a Manu fan.

Anyway, I like to see our young gun recruiting his sidekicks

Hmm. I was thinking more of the post play. Lonzo can definitely pass out of the post, but he doesnt seem to be much of a scorer from there.

Meanwhile, Kobe/Shaq/MJ were post threats from a scoring and passing perspective.

I think KG would have been awesome in the tri!

Only Lebron is more likely to want Ball traded. Teams don't win with 20 yo players.

I would think that if we got lbj/pg13, Ingram is more likely than Lonzo. Hopefully neither gets moved.

And then trade Ingram for the return of Mike Miller.

I think he would aim higher than that, and we have a nice ending contract in Lopez to throw in. Jones is Phoenix's road to sign Lebron.

I get the feeling Lebron has always wanted to play with a pass-first PG, based on the snarky comments about Kyrie's assist numbers. It would prolong his career at this point, similar to what Magic did for Kareem.

Agreed. His comments about needing another playmaker, as well, indicate that.

Don't fall for the troll yin

I guess bury your head in the sand on how Lebron has ran his former teams?

You are a troll nothing more. Continue with your garbage like it's all reality

Wow, what's with the personal attack? VLF is right. He doesn't want Ball traded and neither do I.

But you're not going to pay Lebron and whoever else max money and then fall short because you don't want to move 20 year olds. That makes no sense and to his point, that's why CLE moved two #1 overall picks for Love.

Why does this make you so angry?

Lol, you're actually counting Anthony Bennett. You are the master of sophistry, ring.
