Don't understand why you want to pay a 38 yr old Bron 20+Million

Yes I do want LeBron for 2-3 yrs

20+Million??!!

Lebron will opt out of 35 million. If he sign a 4 year deal, it will begin at 35. @ age 38 it will be around 42-43mil.

Nope. Don't want LeBronze aka the greatest basketball mercenary ever.

If he comes it will be the same thing for me as it was when we signed Malone. I hope he helps us win a ring, but I won't buy his merchandise or consider him true laker

No thanks, especially if it comes with a LeBronze Farewell Tour parting gift.

Sure, we would be much improved but still road kill for GS.

The fan in me hates Lebron.

The pragmatist thinks it could win us more rings, potentially.

(bleep) happens in the NBA. The Cavs should have been road kill for GSW two seasons ago, too.

That GSW team was completely different. They have Durant now. We would have to try and trade Lonzo and Ingram to teams who really wanted them to even have a chance at pushing GSW to 6 games. Then when LeBron leaves, as he has left every other team he ever played for, we are back to tanking.

Do you think a farewell tour is now the norm? There's only been two in the NBA I can recall in my lifetime, both equally sad and embarrassing. I can't see a player who just saw the last one saying: "yup, sign me up for that".

Nope. Don't want him. If you want an in prime LBJ, you go after Giannis when he hits FA.

Zero chance of Giannis walking.

LeBron, for liked or disliked, is still the best player in the NBA. You get him, you're already in contention mode. You add PG, and you're a threat. You manage too keep Lopez + LeBron + PG + Lonzo + BI and you've got a hell of a starting 5. That team is ready to compete now and with all the young talent, we have the window is long.

This is such an easy yes.

No thank you. LeBron's legacy is well known by now. I don't want that staining the Lakers name.

There is no option to just sign LeBron, if you want him, you have to bring LeGM in to the FO as well. There wasn't enough room for the opinions of The Logo, but we are going to do whatever it takes to put LeGM in there? The whole plan feels very near-sighted to me and I would not have high expectations for the season 2 to 3 years after getting LeBron. Right now without LeBron/LeGM I feel very optimistic about this team 4 years from now. I am not anxious to leverage our future to put a team together that is the 2nd or 3rd best team in the league at best.

I don't know about that. From Bucks staindpoint, it would be stupid to let Giannis go. I just don't see them having the resources to build around him.

He really is that

But I think thats kinda cool. Yeah I would sign him but if its a risk and I'd rather roll with Cousins or PG

A big fat NO.

He won't bring us any ring at 34-35-36 and he would make us trade LB and BI for 3&D guys who fit him.

The Warriors weren't nearly as good without Duran. What killed them in 2016 was the lack of ISO scoring in clutch time. No problem in 2017 with KD. We just flat out don't have the players to defend them, even if we get Lebron.

Yes. He's the best player in the world. MJ at age 34-35 was still mvp level, barring any serious injuries (I can't remember LeBron having a big injury in the last decade or so) I can't see him not producing at a high level in his twilight years.

Also it'd be cool see another dominant player in the purple & gold again.

Honestly, no. Besides the fact that I don't like him and would rather never see him win another ring ever again, his age next year wouldn't gel well with the core. As well as sacrificing Randle and/or developmental years of Kuzma.

There is also the fit issue with him handling the ball over Lonzo and Ingram and George, etc. ALWAYS the other players having to sacrifice and not LeBron like Wade, Bosh, Love, etc.

There are no guarantees we can get a player better than 34 year old Lebron in the next decade. I'd happily take LBJ.
Only half the people who took the poll said yes!? Ya'll are trippin.
Although I'm not surprised. Through the years I've seen people argue against signing Aldridge, D. Jordan, and Derozan. And I'm sure if you made this same thread and replaced Lebron with Westbrook. The % of yes votes would be even lower.
LG is SOOOOOO picky. It's hilarious. Especially since we've been a bottom 5 team for nearly half a decade.

Yes. For a two-year contract; after which we can go after the 2020 FA class.

Aldridge may not be the best example to make your case.

Anyway, give the rest of us some credit. There are legitimate reasons for not wanting the front office to sign Lebron. You know that.
