I wouldn't be surprised |
That's my best case prediction, though i'm not sure either LBJ/PG13/Ingram play starting "PF." Maybe Kuz/Nance start with Ingram as a super 6th man who closes. |
Makes sense there a few other ring chasers to look at as well...Rose, Joe Johnson, Trevol Ariza I think would be open to minimum deals.
Ball/Rose
George/Wade
Lebron/Ingram
Kuzma/Nance
Lopez/Bryant |
In that scenario, the hope would be:
1. Deng traded out for say a future protected 1st and a 2nd rounder or 2. That way we could theoretically give Brook 10-11m/year for 1 year, then use his Bird rights in 2019 to sign him above the cap.
2. alternatively, that would mean Brook signs for the room exception (and same above in terms of using his Bird rights).
I was reading it too fast and didn't see the Wade part. Doubt he's coming for the minimum, and no thanks with Rose. Plenty of other vets who would take a minimum. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

you guys really don't seem to get it with Rose. he's a selfish player who isn't the mentoring type.
someone may counter with, "well, how do you know?" read his agent's statement after he signed with the Cavs. Rose has no intention to mentor.
Zero. I don't want him and his attitude any where near ball. _________________ Dominating every day. |

Obviously, this doesn’t make LeBron Los Angeles-bound – or even mean he’s alluding to the idea. But I do believe LeBron wants the thought of him leaving Cleveland again out there, maybe if only to keep pressure on the Cavs.
For what it’s worth, LeBron has never tweeted Johnson a birthday message until Johnson took over the Lakers.
As Johnson would say, wink. |

Damn.
LBJ's passive aggressive codes are being more scrutinized. I think there's a very good chance he's a Laker next year. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

It is a done deal, the question that remains is if PG13 is the second max player
Is Anthony Davis going to be a free agent before Ingram rookie deal expires? |

On the one hand, he's still a top 3 player IMO in ages 32-34.

Remember when LG said we were too good for Derozan?
Now we're too good for Lebron.
Haven't won 30 games in a season for nearly half a decade. Yet we're too good for NBA studs. I'll never understand it. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

Yeah. The team that ended up spending nearly $140m+ on Moz/Deng... _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |
