Judge has really been scuffling since the All-Star break. His average has dropped to .289 and I think that's about 40 points lower than it was at the break. |

Judge has pulled a Joc...terrific rookie first half altered his swing for the Derby and ain't been right since. |

What a terrible injury that would be. I saw the replay of what happened. Maybe he avoided ACL damage, but it's a severely hyperextended knee, at the very least. His leg just stayed straight and didn't bend, so it's something that's going to keep him out for a while. I know the Nats are possibly our biggest competition, but I don't want to see the guy seriously injured. |
Dude I just saw that. He went blazing into first and just went flying. Hope he's okay. He's exciting to watch and personally I love his exuberant playstyle and attitude. Lord that looks about as bad of an injury as one can see on the base path. Damn. _________________ KOBE

Houston is regressig like crazy. They've dropped 5 in a row and I think they're 2-8 in their last 10. _________________ KOBE |

Stupid game should have been cancelled....wet bases after lengthy and continous rain. Sux for MVP candidate Harper and their post season chances...pray it's just a mild scare than anything serious. |

Yeah they have dealt with serious injuries to their Cy Young guy Kuechel and star shortstop....but we lost our own dynamic stars for decent stretches.
Freaking Halos only 12 GB of sliding Stros, gonna be an epic collapse if these teams go the rest of the way in their current trends! |

Judge's BABIP was unsustainably high in the first half. He was due like a 100 point drop in BA. |

Judge has had the benefit of playing against offense-friendly AL East while Bellinger has the better lineup surrounding him. Gonna be a tight race to best rookie (regardless of league). _________________ http://media.giphy.com/media/zNyBPu5hEFpu/giphy.gif

Serious injuries and bleh moves by their FO. Young arms that they relied on have imploded. _________________ http://media.giphy.com/media/zNyBPu5hEFpu/giphy.gif

Keuchel voiced his displeasure with the Houston front office's lack of moves at the deadline, and now the team is playing like they are disheartened. Verlander would really give them a shot in the arm. Apparently Luhnow is even more loathe to give up prospects than even Friedman (and Friedman has given up a few of them over the past 2 deadlines), but at this point, I think it would be smart to try to give the team a shot in the arm. |

I thought about the same question. I'm not sure which duo will shine the brightest but I'm sure going to enjoy it unfold.... with glee I might add. |

Los Angeles Dodgers
Los Angeles Dodgers @Dodgers
Today, the #Dodgers reinstated Chris Hatcher from the 10-day DL and optioned Kyle Farmer to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Yet Stripling gets to stay with the big club. |

JT felt bad about his 1st inning error today, so he went out and hit 2 home runs to make up for it.
Not even bringing Avilan into the game in the 8th caused us to lose, though they did have a runner at 3rd with 1 out against him (failed to score).
Another series win. Next series against the White Sox.
Oh, and it looks like Bryce Harper avoided a serious injury. That's good to hear. |

This is a crazy run that the Dodgers are on right now. It's gotten to the point where if they lose a game, Dodger fans can just grumble that they're not gonna get to see a sweep and settle with just a series win. |

Dodgers have also moved Puig up to 6th in tonight's batting order. They've dropped Joc to 8th, with Forsythe hitting 7th. |

Any other player and I would have been questioning why the hell Roberts hadn't moved him up in the lineup yet. With Puig, I'm actually worried about him moving up. I think 6 is a good spot for him, though. |
