Sometimes I find tickets for under face value on barrystickets.com. This was true even in 2011-13 with Kobe on the team.
Other than that, I've gotten lucky a few times on ticketmaster (immediately pre-game) and at the Staples Center box office for advance sales. _________________ "All wars are civil wars, because all men are brothers."

The last time I went I showed up in the parking lot across the street at the end of the first quarter and bought tickets from a scalper for half the face value _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

I bought tickets from a scalper a few years ago and I remember I got scared and nervous. It was my first time dealing with one and did not like the experience at all and never wanted to do it again. If for some reason we get caught do I get into trouble? |

Someone told me scalping tickets is actually legal, hence sites like StubHub which are scalping tickets, you just can not scalp tickets on Staples Center property so if you buy across the street you are ok, but one problem is they maybe fake and you just lost your money.
I had bought some tickets off Stubhub last year that turned out to be fake, took them to the office across the street and they gave me some tickets in the same row and gave me a credit you wont get that from a street scalper |

Lakers ticket exchange is the best place I have seen to get good prices on tickets. These are all season seat holder tickets who tend to get lower prices than fans who buy individual games. Therefore they tend to price their seats lower than most. |

Defiantly true. I'm a stm and I'd sell them easily in his exchange and Usually for less than face valuE, except for marquee games where I'd get obviously more.
This year will be different though. Since the face value will change according to the opponent we play. My previously $162 cavs game will now be adjusted up |

Wait until the last minute and buy them on EBay. Unless it's a very big game you'll usually get them under face value.
I've never once paid full price. |

Ticket exchange. Season ticket holders pretty much lose money unless it's kft or deep playoff run. You must take advantage of dumb money. |

Looks like AXS is off to a great start, per Lakers twitter:
For fans participating in the presale, AXS is working on the site and we will post again once the presale is active. |

Think they actually suspended and postponed the pre-sale entirely. |

If you're buying stubhub some sellers will lower their prices as it gets closer to the game to get rid of the tickets, this might not work if its a really good game |

Please be aware that we have suspended the presale for August 24th as well as the public onsale on August 25th.
The AXS services overloaded and they were unable to fix this in a suitable time period, so for fairness to our fans we will be suspending today's presale until a future date.
The future presale and onsale will be announced through our emails and on Lakers.com. We will have full inventory available during the future presale and on-sale.
We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. |

When I buy from scalpers, my only fear is that its a duplicate or counterfeit ticket. So far I haven't had any issue but you have no recourse if it happens. It's a cash transaction with someone who you don't know. |
