With the signing of Thomas Bryant to a guaranteed deal, the Los Angeles Lakers remain with one roster spot available. A month away from the start of training camp it remains unclear if they intend to fill this spot or keep it open for the season.

I would give it to vander. That kid worked his ass off the last 3 years to play at the professional level.

It would also send a good message to Young fans around the world that hard work and dedication pays off

The Lakers play to win games not to send a good message to kids. Besides what kind of message does it send if they give a guy a roster spot thats not good enough? The NBA will pity you and hold your hand if it's too hard?

I'd give it to no one and leave it open incase someone gets cut.

That guy Thomas from SL. He shot 61% from 3. Maybe the next Steve Kerr

I think they keep the final spot open for roster flexibility.

Id rather have him than the guys we have signed to fill the end of the bench.

I'd like to have signed him too but he has already signed a nice contract to play overseas this season.

I would not be surprised if it is a player still on another roster at the moment.

Vet PG still stands out to me.

Won't matter if Clarkson takes all the minutes up at both guard spots.

I think they'll keep the spot open for flexibility if something comes up during the season.

Tony Allen would be a good pick-up on a 1 year deal. He could teach the young guys a thing or two about defense.

I wonder how much he would cost us??

Weber, it would be great to have a guy with his defensive ability to go at Lonzo everyday in practice

The plan, as I understand it, is to sign him to a training camp contract for a day, not give him a roster spot. It's just a ceremonial gesture that won't affect anything.

I will be pissed if they signed Weber. He completely (bleep) me last year in a straight game bet and a 7 team parlay. I forgot what game it was but the spread was -12 with 3/4 mins in the 4th and the Warriors are up 20+. Back to back turnovers, missed layups, basically EVERYTHING went wrong and I ended up losing both bets.

Ending up losing $500 on the full game spread and $100 on the parlay (went 6/7 on it)

It could be Shabezz Muhammad if he and the Lakers agree to a contract. We shall see.
