Lomachenko is boss!...Initially, I wasn't sure when Bob Arum had him getting title shots immediately and he got bullied by Salido (of course, Salido doing his normal rugged/dirty tactics), but the guys skills are just ridiculous. He really doesn't have that great of power, but his speed/timing/accuracy combined with defensive skills/footwork is just so much fun to watch.

I would love to see what a fight with he and Mikey would looks like! Mikey said he could easily go back down to 135, especially for a unification with Linares or fight with Lomachenko. Of course, we all know Uncle Bob won't put Lomachenko in there with Mikey.

The other fight that I'd love to see is Lomachenko vs. Rigondeaux at 126! Their teams keep talking ish back and forth, but that'd be a really interesting fight for Rigondeaux...and it's already tough to say that a Rigondeaux fight would be interesting...LOL.

Loma needs to either fight Mikey or Rigo next. Kinda tough with Rigo being two weight classes lower but Loma's next fight have to be against someone.

And let's talk about the REAL fight of the night. Did you all see the Cotto vs. Kamegai fight? Kamegai officially has my vote for the best chin in boxing! Did anybody go watch live?

Don't know if it was live but I saw it. It was like watching a real life Rocky movie. I admired Kamegai's courage but hate seeing anyone take that many punches to the head. I just hope he doesn't end up a dead-eyed drooler after his career is over.

Watched the fight, it was fascinating. Kamegal showed signs of being a masochist. The more Cotto hit him the more he smiled and asked for more. Masochism at it highest.

In the post fight interview he was asked when did he know he wasn't going to be able to KO Kamegal? He said around the fifth round.

Definitely chin of the year.

Any suggestions on where the wife and I can watch this fight in the Santa Monica area? Possibly the Pasadena area? Looking for a quality bar/restaurant to catch the fight. Any recommendations are appreciated. Will be in town from the Temecula area.

Fight me in Temecula, bro.

Anyone goin to Stubhub? Solid Card of Fights.

My boy Brian Villoria still in the game. Will be a tough fight but if he gets passed Cartegena I would love to see him match up with either the winner or loser of the Choclatito Wanget fight.

I'll be rooting for Canelo. But most of the informed boxing fans I know say GGG will win.
If that's the case. I hope GGG and Ward meet up sooner or later. Want to see the top 2 PVPs go at it. Ward fought the bigger guy in Kovalev. It should be GGGs turn next. They can meet at 168 lbs.

After giving Rungvisai absolutely no credit for his win over Gonzalez in the first fight the analysis team spends the first 3 rounds making excuses for Chocolatito again. They finally stopped after Rungvisai brutally KOed him in the 4th. Well kinda. Kellerman is such a tool.

Rungvisai hits hard maybe harder than anyone at 115. But for boxing historian Max to call him the greatest fighter in Thai history is laughable. The historian never heard of Khaosai Galaxy apparently. They couldn't even be bothered to learn to pronounce Rungvisai's name correctly.

Are you in Thailand right now? How is the country taking to this win? It must be pretty huge right?

Yes I am, I'm sure it will be big news but soccer is king here really. English Premiere League.
Muay Thai as well but mostly that is popular with working class folks. Oddly enough we get quite a few PPV fights on regular TV but you gotta remember they are coming on Sunday morning. But you are right it will swell national pride I am sure just haven't heard anything yet .

Watched the fights this morning. Chocolatito didn't seem to have it. Maybe the last fight, which I thought he won, had more of an affect on him than I imagined. He didn't attack like he normally does. We may have seen the last of him being the dominant fighter we knew.

I think it will go much the same as the Lemeuix GGG fight

Golovkin will control distance over the shorter armed slower footed Alvarez with the jab forcing Canelo to try to close the gap. If he thinks Alvarez can't hurt him he will probably open up and go for the knock out in the second half of the fight. GGG too long with underrated boxing skills for the shorter more slow footed Alvarez.

I think that's the only way Canelo wins.. I don't think he has the size and power to take out GGG..

GGG has taken full shots from real middle weights and kept coming.. he's relentless. Canelo's never fought at this weight.. so I skeptical that he can pull off what no other middle weight has done.. which is hurt GGG.

I think GGG ends the fight in the 9th.. TKO
