Most points scored with Goff as QB. Good job McVay.

I have no idea why they gave him that long contract. He's a shifty guy in space but that's only useful as a returner if he doesn't run good routes or catches well, two things he's awful at. Not to mention speed and agility diminish very quickly with age.

I'd feel bad for Tolzien but this is the same thing Goff went through last season.

I think the Rams finally having an offense will win the fans back....it was pretty obvious a lot of people didn't show up not only because it was freaking hot today...90+ degrees, but they went thru a season of seeing a Jeff Fisher team.

The most interesting thing in the game is watching a friend of mine as a Rams cheerleader.

Rams and Goff needed to build their confidence, if the defense is for real, this will be a fun season...

No Aaron Donald, but they didn't need him against a toilet paper Colts OL and a QB so bad GB didn't want to keep around as a 3rd stringer. 4 sacks, 2 picks for TD's, a fumble recovery, a safety, and less than 10 points given up. I picked up the Rams in the LG league as a flier for Week 1 but I wasn't expecting this! The Rams D has talent on paper but to be an elite unit they need everyone to play to their expected level.

At least Pagano gave the 49ers all the credit in the world .

Colts would be the Browns if they didn't have Andrew Luck on the roster.

By the way, I wouldn't overreact to beating the Colts like this. They are legitimately a bottom two or three roster in the league sans Luck. The only very good player that they had active yesterday was Hilton, and he is basically rendered a non-factor with a QB as bad as Tolzien. Luck might make some mistakes and take his share of criticism, but he almost single-handedly makes them a competitive team. He's a legit franchise QB.

As for the Rams, I'd still be surprised if they won 6 games. And Gurley still looks like Trent Richardson 2.0 out there.

Rams lost twice to a bottom feeding team last year, once shutout at their season opener and then lost again by 1 last year....so this is progress.

Actually it's her and a co-worker of hers on this year's roster. Still not enough to get me to go to an actual game but it's nice seeing them on TV.

The Colts have done a terrible job with their roster for several years now.

It shows how good Luck is that he was able to put that team on his back and actually make the playoffs a couple of times.

Agreed. They failed to bring a viablr RB during the years Luck was rolling. I mean ... Gore?

Not sure about the 49ers, but for the Rams game it was really hot (90 degrees+) and people in LA weren't sure if they were going to see a good team or a bad one. Especially after a year of watching a Jeff Fisher coached team. From what I heard the 49ers ticket prices at the new stadium is much higher than the old stadium, so higher prices+bad team=low attendance.

The 49ers prices are good against bad teams. I could get nose bleed seat for $30.

Well from my observation people in LA don't pay good money or waste their time to see bad teams except for the Lakers who pretty much seem to be command high ticket prices even during the darkest of times.

I think they have a viable up and coming RB now.
