I know Westbrook is a world of talent, but minus Westbrook the Thunder really didn't have a lot of talent, they had a bunch of role players doing a good job at there position, I believe this Lakers team can end up being like the Thunder team that won 47 games, there players aren't comparable to the Laker players but they probably had good chemistry which is what this Lakers team is gonna rely on to have success.

A good team to compare to as well are the Blazers who ended up winning 41 games although we have no idea how good our young players will be, I think Lakers reaching the level of what the Thunder or Blazers displayed last year is possible.

One thing we need to catapult us to 47 wins.

a goto Guy or goto guys when things get tight.
westrbrook, lliard/CJ

the thunder and blazers have that. even if we were to say our overall teams are better minus the those guys. When things get tight. Who are you going to call?

Things getting tight:

1. You start off really slow and slugish and go down by 18 early. you come back but still find yourself down by 8 with 6 mins to go in the 4th. everyone is tired due to the effort needed to comeback.

2. You start off up by 18 early and fall completely apart come the 3rd qtr and find yourself down by 8 with 8 mins left in the 4th.

3.it's a close game vs a team with a closer(lillard/cj, westbrook/pg13, the warriors, bron and nem, etc. What are you going to do when its closer time? can you stop their closer while closing yourself?

The Lakers have a lot more in common with the JV squad at Barstow Community College than they do with the 2017 OKC Thunder.
