Whoaaaaaaaaaaaaa, not a single mention of Insecure?

I know most of y'all here aren't the target demographic, but wow.

I'm watching it now. I'm a few episodes from being caught up but I really enjoy it.

Not even close to GoT, The Wire, The Sopranos, and the rest. Not even close to two comedies currently ongoing in HBO: Veep and Silicon Valley. Soon to be three with Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Insecure falls in with a number of mediocre "comedies" currently on HBO like Vice Principals, Crashing, Divorce, Room 104. Maybe Ballers too though I think it's a little bit better than the rest.

Yep. It's a very good show. Really well done. But it's got stiff competition when it comes to favorite HBO shows.

Speaking of stiff competition, I watched the first two episodes of "Hung" last night.

I was entertained and think I'll definitely watch more.

I liked the first season better. The finale was really good last night though. Glad there's a show for the culture on HBO though, can't not watch it, cuz it's relatable on a personality/culture/generation level --- even if I don't think it's a great show.

With Insecure brought up, just noticed how ratings doubled/tripled from the first season with GoT as a lead-in. Same thing for Ballers. Pretty crazy.
