Trudell said on the radio today that BI grew two inches to 6'11 now.
Da_n......I posted about two weeks ago that I thought he'd be about 6'10 w/o shoes about now. When he entered the league he was measured at about 6'8.5 or 6'9 w/o shoes.
I figured if he was that length already, and that he was due for another growth spurt or two, that he might top off at close to 7ft. At this point he's already got the gifts to transform the 3 and/or 4.

If BI gets a respectable jumper, he and KD will be the only players in the league that can play 1 through 5.

Don't forget Giannis.
Kahwai can probably if he really needed.
Dray can guard all 5 and often plays facilitator in the half court.
Oh and the Lebron guy. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

Giannis will never be able to play SG lol, thats why I made sure to include the respectable jumper comment.

But Ingram's jumper (granted rookie year) was nothing to be proud of. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
Damn, 6'11" -- it's hard to see how someone that long could handle the ball so well. This is more proof that he is just a kid (still growing!) and we should be patient for the next couple years.

So basically the archetype for the modern NBA player.
In a poor man's sense I think you can add Ben Simmons and (to and even lesser degree) Kuzma to that list.
Do we know if Trudell was just sort of igniting the fan base with banter or really reporting something that was part of an initial measurement? So Ingram can develop a respectable jumper but Gianni's can't? _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.
Keep Ingram right where he is at the 3.. people going "Play him at the 4 or 5 now" the kid is still under 220. Leave him where he's at. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

KD
AD
BI
Greek Freak
All these players have the same archetype and are around 7 feet. If BI can get in this tier group as far as production and talent ... man oh man. Any others that should be added to that list being 6'11" or taller with the wingspan?

Ingram was at least projected to be a capable shooter coming out of college despite his rookie stats. Giannis has never really shown that aptitude, he's actually regressed since coming to the league. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points."

I would trade Ingram for Giannis in a heartbeat. And I really like ingram.
You've always wanted to trade Ingram in a heartbeat, good to know you really like Ingram [/quote
You wouldn't want Giannis for Ingram? With another max and additional cap space you can build a young contending team. You could probably afford a Giannis/Lonzo/pg13/Brook or KCP group. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

Jon Johnson debunked that Ben Simmons isn't 7 feet tall, the reason being is because he's just slightly under 7'0 as far back as April, as he's still growing, him being 6'11 now in September when he was barely under it prior is pretty darn plausible and likely true as has been reported.
He's definitely likely over 250 at this point as well
Trudell's comments on Ingram's height sometime after 28:00
Ingram hasn't been measured, but Trudell's saying he's at least 6'11 if not 7 feet.
Trudell talks more about Ingram's improvement after SL on his first step explosion, jumpshot, etc. There'll be a full interview vid coming out between the two sometime this week.

we gotta get official measurements or just quit this height-watch stuff. Literally every young player gets that rumor, and I start every other one.. I'm disappoint.
