Woke up to tap a kidney and morbid curiosity tempted me to flip on the game since I'm off tomorrow (or today).
Heart of order down 1-2-3.
Losing 8-6 in 8th.
Someone make it stop, please!!!!!
Night night... _________________ 16 and counting.... |

Offense showed signs of life. Pitching remains a disaster. |

Can this "historic" team break the losing streak record? _________________ “Properly read, the bible is the most potent force for atheism ever conceived.”

Imagine this happening in the NBA. The Warriors are on their way to a regular season win record, beating up everybody. And then in March they suddenly start playing and losing like the Nets. _________________ “Properly read, the bible is the most potent force for atheism ever conceived.”

Dodgers better start getting their act together or else they'll lose the home field advantage. Inexcusable to have this kind of losing streak. Kershaw goes tonight. If he wins, then they have a chance to win their first series in September tomorrow.

I don't believe that theory that Dave Roberts is trying different lineups...you don't do that before you clinch anything. The way the team is playing anything can happen. |

I don't think they are necessarily finished....but the aura and mystique they were playing with the majority of the season is gone. They can salvage it by winning a couple of series, but it will be hard this late in the season when there are other teams in MLB that are playing much better than they are. |

Essentially, that's what's going on here.

Hope you'll find it soon. Roberts seems determined to stick with Baez no matter what happens. |

7 runners left on base in the first 3 innings. I don't know how much more I can take. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

This stretch of games in a nutshell. Load bases, do nothing, kershaw immediately gives up a homer to some loser scrub that had zero homers on the season and 2 in his career. |

And was 0 for 14 against Clayton. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

That look on Kershaw's face when Grandal was up there with the bases loaded said it all. 1-28 in Sept w/ 14 strikeouts. Maybe he's been downcycling right now and will start ramping it up for the stretch run. |
