The way he is playing, he is going to give the coach no choice. Heck, he might lead the team in scoring.

He's definitely an major asset. Start him where though? PF? SF? Almost wondering if Ingram can play the two. MCP looks awful.

With who we have, he's going to have to come off the bench. But man, what a spark plug.

Right because the other players who he is being benched for have actually done what in this league?

I seriously doubt Kuzma is starting anytime soon.....you can likely pencil in KCP-Ingram-Randle in the #2,#3,#4 slots for the majority of the season if healthy.

Overreacting after a GREAT combine, GREAT Summer League and a GREAT 1st NBA game. Let's not ignor the positive trend in this instance. This is not Kuzma's first sign of talent.

Playing from the bench is just the best thing for him, he'll have more freedom to shoot and it will be easier for him defensively. As good as he is, he's clearly not ready to start, and no he's not better than Randle or Nance RIGHT NOW. But he can be one day. No need to rush things...

I have no problem saying the kid is talented, but starting him ? No sane coach would do that, and Walton won't. But I didn't want to break the enthusiam, clearly he's a great pick, he runs, can shot, can pass, but to think that he's ready to start ? Yeah that's overreacting...

Perhaps, but he looked better than Julius tonight. How many of those nights before it becomes a consideration? I think he has what it takes to push for starters minutes if he keeps the current trend.

He can't start because why exactly? We have all stars playing ahead of him?

As I said, he's not better than Nance or Randle. But you can disagree, no problem...

Let's see Randle is playing for a contract or up his trade value so he starts, Ingram you know why, KCP I'll give you 18 million reasons why.

I like him coming off the bench. He can be like Lou Williams and give us instant offense.

Instant offense doesn't mean anything when you're always playing from behind.

Well, Randle played a lot against the Towns/Gibson frontcourt, Kuzma played against weaker opponents and with the second unit had more easy scoring opportunities. And we saw that he still has a lot to learn defensively, even physically he was a little weak at times.
But he clearly has the potential, he's smart, doesn't seem selfish, can pass and shoot. I think that he will learn faster than Randle for example. But he's not there... yet. In 6 months, next year ? We'll see. We have to be patient...
