Harrison Barnes was the worst player in the NBA during last years preseason.

At least wait until our best player actually plays.

Im curious about this, where can I find Harrison Barnes preseason stats from last year.

on my phone but google Harrison Barnes preseason to read the numerous articles. He shot 27% and went 3-21 from 3. 7 PPG in 20 minutes

If you get worked up about how bad we are (and are going to be this season), you have unrealistic expectations for this team. Magic's plan is clear, and this season is a throw-away season when it comes to competing. He put together a roster of players who for the most part are not good defenders and can't shoot 3s (not blaming him since he inherited the roster, just facts). That's not a recipe for winning.

We'll see what happens next summer. If we strike-out next summer on the stars, pitchforks will be out.

Good answer so far...

You are correct. Magic's and Palinka first year together is not bad.

But let's hope that he can make the right decisions.

He knows what to do.

Bring shooters through the door.

Add defenders.

Plus kick a few players we have like Randle, Lance and Clarkson out the door.

This brings me some comfort, because he scored the ball pretty well in the regular season

Barnes was also one of the worst players in the 2016 playoffs. Why does that matter to the Lakers, they dodged that bullet.

Under this FO we have tanked and won 0 preseason games. I would hate to see what bad looks like.

He had a pretty decent season last year though he had a horrible preseason, within context of this thread he is indicating that whatever happens in the preseason does not necessarily transfer over to the regular season, aka there is still hope Brandon can have a pretty solid regular season.

I expect Ingram to have a solid regular season. However, I don’t have elevated expectations, improvement in offense and defense is all I ask for.

I would have loved Barnes if it meant no to Deng. Just another notch of failure in the Jimbo era.

Walton can't really do much with the talent he has on the floor.

Magic got lucky with Kuzma.

Lonzo is not making an immediate impact.

Magic is wrong about Ingram IMO..

Randle, Nance and Clarkson should be traded. HopE magic can finally see this..

Let's see what Mr Magic does but so far he has failed to deliver.

If you expected a team of rent-a-vets and young players/rookies to play like a well-oiled machine by the second preseason game, you were just setting yourself up for disappointment.

wow. thought the rings were already in the mail.

JRr13 is the panicky type. Right after we got the second pick, he was complaining that we would end up with the "boring" Fultz and not the "exciting" Ball. Now than we get Ball he's complaining that Ball hasn't made "an immediate impact" by his second preseason game.

JRr13 is in for a long, frustrating season.

You were nice not to just call him a nitwit. Hopefully he doesn't make too many threads because this one smells like teen spirit. Note how he evidently likes Kuzma so let's call that move a lucky one.

That was more for personal attacks against other posters, not criticisms of the players.

The ban was because every other thread was whining about something.

sorta like this one????

Indeed
