Ennis stats after 2 games (29 miutes) indicate that he could become a solid back-up PG. He has flashed excellent leadership skills as well. Looking good all across the board.
5-9 FG, (1-2- 3pt), 2-2 FT, 10 Ast., 3 Rb., 2 St., with 5 TO's |

I thought he was playing for a contract when he went on a solid run late in the season last year, but it looks like he’s 1 of those guys who just play hard no matter what. |

Guy can't shoot a 3 to save his life. He kills us in offense because of that because people can leave him open and play off him. |

Funny, he shot 38.6% from beyond the arc last season. That's pretty damn good. _________________ R.I.P. Doc Buss |

Funny you should mention this because Ennis reminds me of Farmar in terms of his size and build. They aren't similar players of course, but when I watch Ennis, I have to remind myself that I'm not watching an under control Farmar who knows how to run a team. |
Exactly, I was having Farmar flashbacks watching him just because of appearances. But to me, his skill level already far exceeds anything I remember from Farmar. |

Ennis has been great, and for me, a wonderful surprise. Saw flashes end of last year, but thought that was just him vying for a spot on the team. Maybe it's the same now, but he's looking extremely comfortable and solid in his role. |

ennis has a strong game foundation that can grow with more time on the court. |

Kudos to Tyler!
aka "Ennis the Menace"
He played solid in relief during the second half tonight. 10 points, 2 steals & 2 assists in 11 minutes. His defense was okay too.

He was a big part of why we had a chance to win that game. |

"The Return of Ennis the Menace."
Valiant effort by Tyler. 20 points, 11 assists, 2 steals. He displayed poise, leadership and played a smart, heady game.
This was probably his best game of the season. The team needs him to continue to perform at that level. |

Great game by Ennis. There was an obvious difference between him and Caruso last night. |

Ennis should have the backup PG role firmly in his grasp at this point. |

I was thinking that.
But where does that put JC? Trade?
I'd for a Lonzo/Hart starting lineup for the rest of the season.
But Ennis/Kcp bench? Ennis/JC? |

when ball is back, they can roll with Ennis and Hart as backups

Please cut this guy. No disrespect to him as a person, and I'm sure he works his ass off, but he doesn't belong on an NBA roster. There's a reason he bounced around a few teams within his first year or two in the NBA. He certainly shouldn't be getting meaningful minutes in games that count, that's for sure. Neither does Caruso, for that matter, who continues to be in our worst performing lineups (unbeknownst to only Luke).
The FO failed miserably with our back court rotation last summer and put too many eggs in the Lonzo basket, as if this physically underdeveloped (for the NBA) rookie was going to be able to play 35-40 minutes every game and carry the team, though he's certainly tried his hardest to do that. Pure stupidity not to have a veteran PG sitting behind him when there were a number of them available - hello, Jameer Nelson - even after the regular season started. Not even one training camp invite. C'mon now. |

he does nothing other than bring the ball up. can't shoot so guys play back but doesn't have enough speed to get by them. Defense is even worse. |
