It just means we have a deep team.
Deep full of mediocre and unproven young players? The Warriors have a deep team. The Cavs have a deep team. When bad teams have a "deep" team, or a "log-jam" at certain positions, it just means no one has broken out.

Deng has played well so far this preseason. But they know what he can do. I think at the moment the veterans aren't getting a ton of minutes, while they try to figure out what the young guys can do.
That having been said he's going to struggle getting minutes on this team. Ingram, Kuzma, Randle, and Nance all deserve playing time.

Really from what we have seen so far how better is Ingram than Deng? Apart from being a little bit better than Deng on defense but the offense he is giving us Deng can do better.

Kyle Kuzma fits right in to the spot Deng occupies, a big 3 or small 4. Kuzma needs the court time to develop, Kuzma can change a game, and unlike Deng the Lakers need Kuzma.
if you knoll knew how many times my eyes roll at the stuff you say
Not deepest team, but deepest team overall?
Seriously, I'm not trying to act like we are the best, but clearly you can see that we have a lot of depth on this team, I'm not sure why 2019 has to act all mean on me

Look Deng was the mistake of the previous FO. They thought he could be that veteran in the club house who keeps it real. Unfortunately his skills have diminished and now become an albatross. If the Lakers can't trade him, he'll be subject to buy out or wavier. I don't see him on the roster given Magic's statement of getting two max salary players next year.

Deng is just old and broken down.
He's a skilled player, but his body can't handle the NBA grind anymore.
I find it really weird that he has declined so much physically at 32. Most players are past their prime at 32 but not completely washed up. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
