That fuels more fire on him chatting up with Pelinka, if Pelinka can convince him to sign then that means we would need to trade Nance or Randle and maybe even both.

Any organization (or fans) willing to risk a man's life for a couple more wins at a game of basketball should be ashamed of themselves.

Get a grip, if he knows he can play then let him.

As far as your assumption, your right, life comes 1st in everything... but if he wants to play, then hopefully he knows he can handle it health wise.

I have no desire to watch Bosh play, much less with the Lakers, knowing the risks that he'd be taking. Just not worth it imo.

Even if he's medically cleared to play again?

Yes. He'd most likely be a shell of his former self after all the time he spent off the court, which is different type of sadness.

Would love for him to be a player development assistant or coach.

player development type of role seems reasonable at this point. he could coach up some of the centers/power forwards we have

He'd be a great player for Randle and Kuzma to learn from.

if he is cleared to play, then I hope he gets the chance to play.....really not understanding these "hope he doesn't play" or "not worth the risk" thoughts....how is it up to any of us to measure the risk/reward for another person. I have always felt in the end, it should be up to Chris Bosh if he plays.....he is an adult of sound mind in a free country....and the risks are 100% his. Only he can determine the best decision for himself.

You can't understand if someone is concerned about another person's health? Sure, Bosh can decide if he's able to or wants to play again if he's medically cleared, but that doesn't mean we have to like it.

I don't see how anyone could enjoy watching Bosh on the court with the constant fear he could suddenly drop dead.

no, what I am saying is that the fact if you do or do not like it is extremely irrelevant because you bear neither the risks or rewards.....so much so, I do not understand why you have a preference.

Because everyone is entitled to their own opinion, no matter how stupid, flawed or irrelevant it may seem. I mean...just look at the number of people who complain about how the Lakers spend their money. It's not our money, so why should we care?

I think best course of action is to put him in a FO role, he can work with Pelinka and Bosh can serve as a recruiter and talent scouter.

Most likely fake, but interesting if it turns to be true, I much rather have him in a FO role with him being a recruiter in the LeBron sweepstakes next summer.

Lebron would not be swayed by Bosh recruiting him.
