Yeah, couldn’t have really asked for a better outcome to this game beside the Cubs using Quintana. _________________ |

The only potential bad thing is that we will be facing a team that has been "battle tested" in a high leverage game/series. We have to hope that the "tiredness" is more of a factor than that. |

If the Cubs win, you will have three huge media markets in the semi's. Heck, even Houston is a pretty large market. MLB's wet dream. |

Ken Gurnick @kengurnick
Austin Barnes, who took a foul ball below the belt in second to last game of season, just took another and left the simulated game _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

I had the same thoughts going into the Arizona series. You're still 100% right though. |

Wood is gonna start game 4, and pitched a simulated game today. I was thinking maybe the Dodgers would have him start game 2 since he'll be well-rested and his numbers against either the Cubs and Nationals is ridiculous. Hill pitches much better at home and it looks like either he or Darvish will start game 2. I think Darvish on the road in game 3 would be best since neither team is familiar with Yu.
Some potential changes in the lineup depending on which team advances. Cubs heavy lefty lineup might mean Avilan gets activated. Nationals heavy righty lineup might mean... Baez pitches in the post-season. |

I dont care if the Nat's hitters don't have arms. Baez is not leaving his cage. |

holy (bleep). That was a terrible review. Nats fans are going to be PISSED.
Not even a fan of either team and that (bleep) pisses me off.

It's a rematch! Hopefully the Cubs got all of their runs out of their system. Thankfully Angel Hernandez won't be umpiring.

Adam Lind cost the Nats this game. His GIDP on the 1st pitch vrs. a clearly struggling pitcher, plus the reviewed-out at first are the 3 outs Davis recorded in the 8th. |
