There are a bunch of lower tiered teams. There is no reason to think we can not be better than teams like the Suns, Jazz, Kings, Nuggets, and Pelicans if things go right. I would even add a couple of more teams who could be beatable for us including the Mavs and the Grizz. There is no tank so lets see what this team does. I think if we come out of the gate like last year, we will push being a .500 team.

OP is 100% correct. The season opener against the clips is just days away.

The Jazz were really trying to win the game and we had 2 projects in Caruso and Hart and we almost won against a likely playoff team, if only Ingram didn't lay that egg, we could have had great momentum with the season opener coming up.

Oh, gadget.

People keep forgetting last years preseason was this bad but we had a good start.

How good we are this year depends on Luke. This is my year of judging him. Lets see how he does.

We're going to need Lopez and Kuzma to average 30 a game, Bogut to be the DPOY, Ball to win ROY, JC to win 6MOY, Ingram to win MIP, Luke to win COY, Magic to win EOY, and then we might make the playoffs in the West.

Give me 3 in the East and 3 in the West and I'll be happy. As long as we don't win the lottery.

Over kill much? That team would be in the conference finals.

Supporters of this are the real ones buying what Lavar is selling. hahaha.

if you really believe this, we better trade and fire everyone before people go insane when reality hits even harder than it already has.

Half our team is on rookie contracts and still wouldn't be favorites in vegas to win the ncaa title.

Hey, how many times during the year do we actually get a chance to enjoy a false sense of optimism? We're in for 6 long months of boring, depressing, crushing reality starting in less than a week. Why not enjoy our playoff aspirations while we still can?

DIdn't even need to look to see who started this thread.

How many games until IG is running trade scenarios for every player on the team not named Lonzo or Kuzma?

Magic took a walk around the Lakers facility. Could it be a sign something big is about to go down?
