Expected. He's probably gonna play what, 25 minutes? |
I would definitely limit him to 25-28 MPG if the backup demonstrates he can eat enough minutes.....I do not trust his thin frame holding up with heavy minutes, especially if he keeps taking it to the basket and drawing contact. |

still think it should be illegal to ever answer that question in public while wearing the PnG with any answer besides Kobe. |

Can Lonzo play 75 games this season? Seems he's been banged up a lot in SPL/preseason. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Having a dependable backup PG will be important. I haven't caught many of the preseason games so I can't speak to that. Who will be our main backup PG (and starter) if Lonzo is out? _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

I prefer Caruso but am not sure that the organization agrees. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Has he played a lot of the backup PG minutes? Wasn't it Ennis (I only caught the 1st preseason game). _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Technically yes, but that was because Ennis was starting. Maybe Ennis looks better with the second unit than he did with the starters. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

So if we want Caruso to be a full time player, we would have to clear a roster spot amongst the 15 and re-sign him, right? (oh and demand he shave that atrocious "hair."). _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Too soon to give up. With Lebron and his butt hair transplant coming to the team next year he'll look like Rapunzel.

I'm sure Pat Bev despite his knee issues is going to come out with something to prove as a "Def Stopper" vs. Lonzo. It's actually a big game for the new Clipper PG and our hyped new rook.
That's gonna be a fun matchup to watch. Bev wants to stick to his man and pressure the ball and Lonzo doesn't even see his defender often times and just passes to his teammates for open looks. |

I'm expecting a struggle on Thursday. Between the ankle, not being in game shape, Beverly, and being out for a couple weeks it's going to be a tough one. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

Yeah. Bev's the type of player that if he senses that you are afraid of him, he will continue gnawing at you. Fox did that to him in college, so hopefully Lonzo punches right back. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Yes, it will Be day 1 again for him. He needs to play himself into shape. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

I very much doubt it, his body is under developed. We'll see... _________________ Lakers need to build a freaking team ! |

I expect Beverley to give Lonzo a lot of hell, and a lot of coverage to be given to his performance and if Beverley does shut him down he's gonna talk plenty stuff about it afterwards.
Problem is, the starting lineup if Luke puts no other creator in it aside from Lopez, then Ball has no choice really but trying to create more offense than he's used to. We can't dump it into Lopez 9 out of every 10 plays and ask him to bail us out. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

it's ok, Lonzo will make great passes to open guys, they just won't hit the shots... Actually, there's a small chance BI actually goes off this game if he is done with the head down driving at the rim thing. He'll get some good looks, no doubt. |

The problem is with Lonzo's defense, if he doesn't recover on rotations Beverly will kill him from 3pt land. We will see Beverly is 5 inches shorter so Lonzo potentially can score over him and also work his passes over the top. Experience as a rookie is the problem and hopefully Lonzo's natural basketball IQ will determine the outcome. |

I'd accept Magic and Kareem as well.
