He could have probably made a lot more overseas.

I think the FO will try to move JC and that, depending on the return,
could open the door for Blue.

I don't think we really need Vander Blue on this team. But good luck to him.

Let's hope the Vander Blue who showed up late in the Summer League tournament is the player we see in training camp. I was appalled by his first game in Vegas this summer, but as the tourney progressed so did Vander. He really came through for the Lakers, and played his butt off for the win throughout the remainder of the tournament. Best of luck Vander Blue!

My thoughts exactly!

Welcome and good luck, Vander!

IMO Blue knows what Luke & the FO expect from him. He is highly motivated because this could be his best and last chance with the Lakers.
I believe that he will adjust his game and mindset to fit the system much like he did in the SL.
I'm very happy for him.

Good signing. This kind of player is very useful for the roster, even if he provides only instant scoring and 3pt shooting from the bench.

If he decides to come to Europe someday, he will be a star.

Happy for the young man. Every article about him seems to indicate he is a hardworking and solid man trying to get his break. Wish him luck.

That being said, I do not get the enthusiam in him as a player. Never have. He occasionally flashes positively when given the opportunity against others not in the league too. But most of my thoughts on him tend to be of where he missed an opportunity to make play or was out of control.

I know many around here love the guy. I feel like I am standing in a group missing an inside joke as they all laugh.

No you are right to be skeptical. If he was "all of that" he'd already be in the league. Most just hope that his hard work pays off. He's a good guy and a Laker through and through.

That completes the team, no real surprises. Blue can make decent money. I think they picked the right 17.

Here are five good reasons to be excited about @veezy_SQ signing a two-way contract with the @Lakers.

Well, if its <5 sec and a 118 tie, we know who to give the ball to.

Yep. Best of luck to Vander Blue! Sorry it didn't work out with the Lakers. Great memories from Summer League! Particularly the latter games in that series where he kicked it out on some of his drives to the basket.

I hope he finds a team where he can get more NBA games under his belt and maybe a consistent NBA gig some day.
