He is probably gonna be more aggressive once the regular season starts. |
He is on a one year contract and because he will miss a few games to start the season and perhaps a few more due to injury, he needs to take advantage of every opportunity possible to showcase himself. There will be multiple free agents seeking contracts next summer and teams (as a group) will have limited money to spend. Teams can be picky next summer on who they give large contracts to and it is a bad look for KCP to not be serious about things. |
Why is it that the same folks who say others put too much stock in preseason play, are the same folks who want to start or give more PT to Kuzma?
Preseason is precisely the time for new players to show how they can contribute to help further define their role on the team. I wouldn't say KCP has done that.
With him missing the first couple games, we'll just have to wait longer for him to sort of figure that part out. I'm curious to see how he puts him imprint on games for us. |

KCP may be out longer than that 2 game suspension

The suspension is over, he's coming back on Sunday, hopefully the preseason was just gitters and he shows the team his real game. |

Man how good did this guy look.
I like his Defense and hustle. I can see a good season with him starting next to Ball |

was at the game today. he is fast! i was so impressed with him today. he was on a pogo stick on defense and had that great 7 pt offensive run in like 10 seconds. I had a little kobe nostalgia while watching him. |

Loved what I saw from KCP for the most part tonight. We saw that super streakiness in him we know about. Thought he should've kicked that last 10ft jumper he took out to Kuz behind him, but at that point they were pressing. Hope to see this effort night in and out from KCP. |

He took that ballsy 3 pointer, and had a sick chase down block. I like this dude. _________________ The most important shot in basketball. |

I guess he was coasting in the preseason. Looked like a completely different player. Pretty happy with the backcourt now. |

Most veterans don't give full effort during preseason |

If he continues to play like this, then I would rather have him then Avery Bradley. |

KCP looked good out there, last night. Unlike a lot of our players, he doesn't look like he's struggling or reaching to find his game. Definitely can see the team getting much better with him in the line-up going forward. |

He had a great offensive night but man he seems out of control quite a bit. When he came down and chucked up that 3 on a fast break like he was Klay Thompson, I was like WUT THE, lol. I imagine he will be one of those guys where you see 20 points one night and 7 others. |

In my opinion he looked better tonight than he did in any of the preseason games. Seems to be finding his place. I loved his block on the breakaway. |

Pope and Hart on the wings are the most important players, IMO, in establishing this team's defensive identity. |
