SO. FRIGGIN. CLOSE.
One point shy of a 30 point game too.
Awesome performance by the kid. Wow. |

Or a Nance layup, an Ingram open three, a Lopez open three, a Brewer missed dunk, and like a half dozen more easy looks that were missed. It's an abomination he didn't get the triple double today. |

Loved the bounce back body language specifically from our core of the future: Ball, Ingram and Kuzma. Good to see. |

I guess Randle and our terrible defense is gonna do their best to prevent me from enjoying Lonzo's greatness, but (bleep) it, I won't let it. |

Larry's just not a good perimeter defender. He's a good help side defender, but he's not the guy you want defending on the perimeter, he'll get lost or blown by. |
He needed to switch onto Booker when the screen was set on Brewer. A Chandler dunk doesn't hurt us then, only a three does. So stupid to stay on Chandler and let Booker get free for the three. |
Pretty much but as I've said, Larry's not a good perimeter defender which is why the combo of him and Lopez will give up many shots at the basket the moment a guard turns the corner cause Lopez has to step out to help Larry.
But Larry was able to get the block at the end because they ran a play where Larry's defense is at it's best, on the help side rim protection. That's where Larry's strength is defensively, and it paid off there. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Looking at +/- is interesting. Some of it is the opposite of what I'd expect. |

Lakers will be in a position to lock him up for the next 14 years given the structure of the CBA. |

Twice in November, the schedule is extremely light the first 20 games or so. |

Keep in mind that LAL is projected to finish 13th in the West
and the Suns are predicted to finish 14th
good win, helped build chemistry after Ball missing most of the preseason
but, this was a game we should really win against a slightly weaker team _________________ LBJ + AD = More rings

Agreed - I think Scott Foster was there - one of the worst. I think he called that foul against Lonzo with a second left in the game. Not only was it not a foul, you dont call that in the final seconds. Foster also initiated a review of an obvious play with 3 seconds to go that basically gave the Suns a free time out. |

If you're talking about Randle, then I hope you have a really dark sense of humor lol. |

True, but mainly it's nice to see a potential confidence building game for BI and a sign of what's to come from Kuzma and Ball. |

And I know its only 2 games, but Randle is still stinking it up. Bad turnover holding the ball carelessly in first half. Plays no D, cant shoot.
Better to trade him now if you can get anything for him! |

Yeah, I was most hoping that Ball and BI would have good games tonight. They need some positive reinforcement. Lopez, Nance, Brewer all looked good too. |

He was a step behind on several defensive plays tonight.
Either doesn't anticipate or just doesn't care, either way Nance deserves to be playing ahead of him for now at least. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |
