I remember seeing him in college hound a guy with a full court press.. Knew he'd always be an above average defender.

Brewer in my book should back up KCP and move Clarkson to back up PG. obviously Clarkson still needs notable minutes but Brewer is a great fit for what the team needs

CB needs alot more minutes off the bench, he constantly brings energy hustle and most importantly defense. He's savvy when it comes to vet tricks to get into the head of his opponent. He is great reading the passing lanes, picking the pockets of the person who he is defending, and is a great on the fast break leak out and cutting off the ball. His ability to not need the ball to produce on the offensive end is great as well already have way to many players who need the ball in their hands to be effective.

Brewer and Kuzma should be on when Lonzo is out there. Sorry for Hart but KCP and Brewer should get all the SG mins.

I dont get the hate on Brewer coming from the game threads, he is such an awesome teammate. Rooting for this vet.

He is a solid veteran, is a pit bull, and is very engaged with team mates. I like this kid.

He's been better in Deng's role for the Lakers than Deng

I posted this same sentiment this morning before having read this. I TOTALLY agree with this. Kudos on thinking of it so fast! Hopefully Luke has already realized this.

It’ll be fun to see Brewer, KCP, Ingram, Nance on the court together at some point.

That would actually be a good defensive NBA line-up.

The last thing I want to see is Clarkson at the backup point. I don't want him thinking, plotting, contemplating, etc., just playing the game of consistent offense and solid defense.

I was just reminded watching GT's vid how unselfish this guy is. He always makes the extra pass (probably because he can't shoot, but still).

Clarkson is not the right PG for this kind of offense. Horrible move.

Brewer is back on the radar for sure and should get PT over Hart at this point as a backup SG/SF. Too bad Josh can't stay healthy.

The moment KCP starts to flounder brewer is a great back up to have off the bench. Than Kuz can be primary backup to BI and Nance (Sorry Randle). And Randle can come in for small ball center.

Brewer did a great job shutting down Booker in the second half and is a big reason the team won. He was a solid pickup for the team and is a great role model for the young guys.

I didn't know Brewer was 6'9. I hated when we got him, but I love his hustle, defense, and energy. He is like Nance because you have to play him. Won't make too many mistakes, and he is willing to move the ball.

Agreed but what is his future with the team after this year?

His official thread deserves a bump after last night!

Great game by "Brewski!" ..... He seems to own the PHX Suns
He's been bashed a lot yet CB does provide a strong veteran locker room presence and mentorship for the young guys.

I hope he can start performing on a more consistent level but I won't hold my breath.

Depends what you mean by too many

Corey is hard not to like, he's like Nance, unfortunately the guy has so many knuckle-headed plays its ridiculous. He was instrumental in our win last night but he more than likely goes back to sucking for the next 5 games before he has a good game again. I don't think he should play more than 15 mins a game IMO and only when he's the only one on the court who isn't a scoring threat.

Credit to Brewer for that energetic showing, completely changed the game in the 2nd quarter with his energy on D and won us the game

If he's able to do that every game, then he's 6th man of the year material, but he isn't so we'll just have to appreciate to 5-10 games a season where he plays well enough to steal us the win. That's still 5-10 wins more than Deng can give us.
