While Earl Watson probably should've been fired what's the point in doing this after three games into the season?

This was a lost season anyways I would've rode it out, get a better draft pick and call it a day.

well I think it happens even more easily after you fire the coach. A coach on the hot seat is going to do all he can to save his job. With the coach out the way you can work something out with one of the assistants to be a true tank commander.

More like what Kobe and MWP did to the entire franchise of the Suns back in 2010.

They still feeling that Mamba mentality to this day.

I think Horry did them better....
Suns had a stacked roster in the mid 2000's and did nothing with it....now they have to suffer and have no good memories to fall back on.

Very fortunate that D'Antoni was too young and arrogant back then to say yes to Thibs as his defensive assistant.

The ultimate payback for how they did us in the '06 & '07 playoffs.

And their ultimate payback for that was trading us Nash in exchange for our lottery pick this year, plus another first rounder and two second rounders...

Quote:
NBA fines Suns guard Eric Bledsoe $10K for tweet

Suns point guard Eric Bledsoe was fined $10,000 by the NBA for his Oct. 22 tweet in which he said, "I Dont wanna be here," General Manager Ryan McDonough confirmed to azcentral sports Sunday.

McDonough declined further comment.

In addition, Yahoo Sports' Shams Charania reported that Bledsoe will this week start working out with Suns staff members at Talking Stick Resort Arena. There are no plans, however, for Bledsoe to rejoin the team.

Suns forward Jared Dudley said he understood the NBA's position.

"The league doesn't want to set a precedent of players going off on social media," Dudley said. "If you ask Bled he probably regrets doing that. He probably would have done something in a different manner. I just think in general you can't even demand a trade when you're doing interviews. Just keep it more in house."

But, Dudley added, he believes there's a double standard when it comes to how the NBA deals with coaches, general managers or owners when they publicly criticize players, pointing to former New York Knicks executive Phil Jackson saying Carmelo Anthony should play elsewhere.

"If the league is going to issue fines do it both ways," Dudley said. "Coaches, owners and GMs should be held to a similar standard."

Bledsoe's tweet came just hours before the Suns fired coach Earl Watson and replaced him with interim coach Jay Triano. Bledsoe showed up the following morning for Phoenix's shootaround but was sent home by the Suns, and Phoenix has been trying to work out a trade for the unhappy point guard.

McDonough said Bledsoe told him the tweet was meant to express his desire to leave a hair salon where he was with his wife but McDonough said, "I didn't believe that to be true."

Bledsoe was sent home so he wouldn't be a distraction, McDonough added.

Bledsoe averaged 15.7 points and three assists in three games this season.
