That read and pass to Randle in the second quarter just now was some high level stuff. Love Hart.

Not far-fetched to think he can be the next George Hill

Can he play point? GH can be depended on to run the offense and protect the ball. I like Hart a lot but he looks like a SG. Hart is making the D'Lo trade a little easier to swallow.

George Hill wasn't a pure point out of IUPUI.
and G hill is still not that great at point. he's a nice backup on a championship team. but he might be a legit starting play scoring guard. he's just not tall enough for my liking.

6'1"
6'9" wingspan.

That's more than fine.

You get the feeling that the guy has sooo much more to show. Nance, as a rookie coming from his senior year, was just figuring out how to play within himself. Hart, as a rookie coming from his senior year, seems to have this confidence that he knows what he is doing, but wants to fit in. There is something about this guy that makes me feel like he's going to be a lot more than he is right now.

I'm not saying all-star, but a 12-15PPG scorer who can backup either the PG or SG spots with some great defense, nice clutch 3pt shooting and a hell of a lot of "doesn't show in the box score" plays? Definitely.

Him and Nance are definitly players you want on the bench in a championship team...
I'd say a roster of :

Ball
Ingram
PG13
LeBron
Randle
Kuzma
Nance
Hart

is intriguing...
Difficult financially from what I heard but if possible...

Love his poise and maturity out there, mentality wise he truly is the Nance of guards.

The fact that both he and Zo are such good rebounders for guards is quite dangerous, especially with the way our forwards (Ingram, Nance, Randle and Kuzma) can get up and down the floor. It's what will allow us to play even faster.

Might be a personal quirk of mine but Hart must have the sexiest layups on the entire team (Kuzma second), the balance and strength that he rises with is just so reassuring and satisfying to watch.

Late in last nights game, I saw him get the ball, without hesitation, drain the three pointer with the silkiest smooth stroke I had ever seen. The guy's got the smoothest stroke. I said to myself, he needs a nickname.... can Silk be used again?

I don't want to get ahead of myself (so I will) we may be seeing something very special in Ball, Kuzma and Hart. To think we got em all in the same draft.

Best part about that play? He just put his head down and acted like he'd done it before when the Pistons called time out immediately after.

Such a refreshing change after our previous clown academy backcourt.

This guys is a keeper. Can't believe we have Lonzo, Kuz and Hart all contributing in big ways during their rookie seasons.

When he got switch with Boogie and he did not back down and just held his ground down there, I can tell that this guy has a lot of fight in him. He can easily play SF and sub for Ingram and Luke should utilize him. He was your guy during the draft. We are doing good with our late first round picks.

Yep. Suggested he should just be the 1st backup SF option awhile back on twitter. Earned it over Brewer.

If we can trade Brewer and get some specialist like Belinelli, we would have a nice balance lineup. I like Brewer and his energy but Hart should be playing more. He can provide the same thing Defensively but create much better spacing and spread the floor more than Brewer.

I think we can't fall too much in love with him. To dump Deng, teams will be asking high as a negotiation ploy. They'll start with BI, then go to Kuzma, and ultimately Hart may be a young piece team will want and settle for. If Maginka really think they can get two max, I think they'll part with Hart. This guy has made the D'Lo trade easier to swallow for me. My mind will explode this summer if we lose Hart and the two max plan don't pan out.

Disagree. When you have a top heavy team like we are shooting for with 2 max 2018, you need a guy like Hart who is on the cheapest deal possible for a long time period (for a 1st rounder). I think the team dumps future picks first over a somewhat "known" Hart.

I think it's putting off the future for the present. Hart is ready to compete now as opposed to a future 2019/21 pick. I think Lakers offer those, rightly or wrongly, first.
