We should trade Lonzo with Deng!
Would there be any takers? Naw, probably not.

I hate lakers "fans" here on LG that hope that our players fail so that they can have their opinion proven right.

Can't lie it does feel pretty vindicating to see that my predraft prediction on Lonzo was right, but honestly deep down I always hoped I was wrong man. It's depressing to see our #2 pick and supposed future of our franchise look so bad out there Every night I pray that Lonzo finds the strength to fix his god-awful shot release and become good at basketball

Great post! This is as sickening to me as people still talking about a player who is a not a Laker or saying Kuzma would have been on the board (nobody knows it 100%).

Game thread usually moves too fast.
And it's just people typing the first thing coming into their heads.
Usually best to stay out of there hehe

I could stay out of there or people could just try and stay reasonable during games.

Their love for said player is quite fascinating, or it is just hard for them to accept they were wrong.

Watching Russell play against us I'm now completely OK with moving him. He's just a liability on defense and unless he becomes Stephen Curry, he's not going to move the needle on a good team

Can someone explain why BVH said "ironic" though?
I missed some of last year?

I'm not a DLO fan, so he was insinuating that I wanted DLO to look bad in the game so that my point would be proven (that he sucks and we are better without him). He is right as far the irony goes, but DLO isn't a laker...so I'm allowed to root against him now. He's just salty because DLO looked so bad lol.

If I'm remembering correctly (please tell me if I'm wrong), you weren't exactly unpleased with DLo while he was a Laker.

And yes, I'm salty, because I'm right overall, but you and other folks will use the sample size of his last game against the Lakers to confirm your biases. It's like demonizing all illegal immigrants because one commits vehicular manslaughter while drunk.

And I'm not vlf - I adapt and do often admit when I'm wrong. I was wrong about Kuzma and I'm now a huge fan. I'll probably be wrong about being overly critical of Ingram, though I probably will never be a big fan. I stand behind Russell, I stand behind the trade being Vlade-esque even if it was redeemed by West and Buss' scouting and draft luck, and I stand behind my claim that the true outcome of the deal and Russell's future trajectory will be determined next year and beyond, not within the first 10 games this season or in one game in November. We shall see.

Great post. I was tired of the Randle groupies rooting for Nance to fail so that Randle gets to start and play more minutes. I'm curious if they were happy after Nance broke his hand. Sad.

Right, make something up and then be sad about what you made up. Now that is sad.

Not that part. I said I was curious about that, didn't state that as a fact.

Mine has nothing to do with their players. It is more of the front office. When Jerry buss was alive he would sometimes listen to what the fans wanted and made a decision on what was best for the team.

This time. We had jerry west open to come back. And the FO said no!!! You let him go to the clippers a team real laker fans despises. How the hell do you say no to man like jerry west. The greatest GM of all time and magic and Jeanie said NO we don’t need you.

Seriously magic?!?! How big is your ego that you had Jeanie say no to Jerry West
