He is a faster Ariza

He's a different style player. Ariza is long as heck and more athletic. Hart seems to have a better grasp of the game though.

absolutely in love with his defense, so smart, strong and physical, needs to play more minutes to figure out the other side of the ball though

He can learn to shoot in practice. Our offense was a disaster with him and Brewer both on the floor without Kuz.

Luke needs to do a better job of having him out there with better offensive players. He’s a black hole on offense right now.

Hart probably shouldn't be a regular in the rotation yet. His offensive game is way too unpolished, as much as I like his defensive intensity. I don't know that the Lakers have a better option than him (we're pretty thin on guards in general), though.

It would be nice if Josh makes at least one shot in November.
I dont care if it's a layup. Just one basket would be nice.

He was a good shooter in college. I guess just like with Ball and Ingram, there is a pretty big adjustment that has to be made in the NBA.

I think Hart is a talented player, and Luke and 2nd unit should put some effort into getting him going offensively. It would really open up the 2nd unit if he can get his confidence back on offense.

He hasn’t hit a shot in forever but at least he can defend and not turn it over.

Luke is out of his mind giving brewer all these minutes.

Should send him down to the Dleague for a few games. Still plays tough D but totally lost on the offensive end.

Yea, most rookies don't shoot as well as you think they would. Hart's form has been had some real issues though.. There was concern about him shooting at this level from DraftExpress

It definitely would not hurt. He could benefit greatly from the experience.

There's that adjustment to the actual ball. the nba ball feels totally different than the ncaa balls. and it matters to guys that are not money shooters or guys that dont have Kawhi sized hands. Obviously the defenders are longer. But we have guys blowing layups and missing wide open jumpers. that tells me its mental and its fatigue from all those games so close to one another and all that flying around. it starts to get to a player, especially the young ones that have never had the experienced.

Oh yeah the team has been blowing a lot of easy shots on this trip as a whole, from Lopez down to KCP and Ball.

Agreed that with more experience with Luke's offense and more time on the floor together their collective fg% is bound to improve.

I am so happy that at least we have a very good defensive foundation to build upon. That is harder to achieve with a young team than getting them amped up on the offensive side in my opinion.

Lost on the offensive end?

Dude is adjusting from #1 option on an elite NCAA team to a #4 or #5 guy on a bad team. This just boils down to him boxing his offensive skill set into something narrow so that he can fit in his respective lineups.

He's got better court vision than Jordan Clarkson, no exaggeration. It's just not his role on the team because he's not considered a pure PG and he's still a rookie.

But dude was an elite tertiary NCAA playmaker. Lost? Adjusting. This isn't like Brewer who just forces everything at the hoop. Hart is overthinking.

I personally would like to see Luke take the ball out of Clarkson Hands and let Hart be the distributor.

I am not disagreeing with you, but I do not ever recall him distributing or showing passing skills @ 'Nova. Did I just miss it? Probably only watched 25% of his games his senior year.
