Lol at this being the toughest schedule. Most of the games have been at home and they haven't played any of the top teams yet.

Brook doesn't need to play like last night every game. He just needs to be that efficient 20 pt scorer that was advertised in Brooklyn. And if Lonzo would continue to be aggressive like last night, his shots will fall. But it's all about reps. He will not improve if he becomes shy after every bad shooting game. So lets see what he does tomorrow after going 3-15. I don't mind if he goes 3-15 again, and again, and again until he gets it. I just don't want to see 2-7, 1-6, 0-2.

The playoffs is essentially on the shoulders of these two.

No when teams are 3-1 they are considered the toughest schedule.

The Celtics have faced the Cavs and the Thunder. They've had the toughest schedule by people that actually understand where teams will be at the end of the season.

Most are realistic.

Here's the teams above us

Rockets
Grizzlies
Warriors
T'Wolves
Clippers
Jazz
Spurs
Trail Blazers
Nuggets
Thunder
Pelicans

Are we better than any of those 11 teams?

We have been competitive in every game this season. We got fighters that do not give up. We got something amazing here.

Only game we weren't in was the clippers game.
And we let 3 games slip away which is expected to the young'ns.
We haven't played the big dogs yet though

We haven't played the big dogs but we haven't played slouches either. LAC, Utah, Memphis, Blazers, Pelicans, Wizards, Raptors are all playoff teams or playoff caliber. We have beaten every team we should have beaten in Suns, Detroit, Nets. That's good.

Yep. If we beat the 6 teams were supposed to and go 60/40 on the playoff caliber teams and go 35/65 against the big dogs, we should be in good shape

Ultimately, Rockets, Spurs, Warriors, Clippers, Thunder and T'Wolves are all better than us. Mavericks, Phoenix and Kings are worse than us. That leaves us, Pelicans, Jazz, Grizzlies and Nuggets all fighting for the 7th and 8th spots.

Making the playoffs is not as far fetched as it seemed a month ago.

True but we still won't make it tbh.

Playoffs were never far fetched from day 1. I had the Lakers being a 7th seed team before the season started.

Luke's incompetent rotations costed this team two games (Pelicans, Raptors). Which means we should be 7-3 right now. If not for Lillard heart breaker and the refs in that Blazers game, 8-2.

We look very good and our offense hasn't even really clicked yet. Along with Lonzo's shot at the moment. When that all comes together, playoffs we go.

And we have been dealing with a ridiculously hard schedule too.

Memphis is gonna be tough for any team to deal with in the playoffs, they are gonna be dangerous.

Warriors
Rockets
Spurs
Thunder
Wolves

Are locks.

Blazers
Jazz
Pelicans
Grizzlies
Nuggets

Two of those five will make the playoffs, if I had to pick right now I would say Jazz and Pelicans. I think our best case scenario is we finish 10th or so, which is really not bad considering we'd be ahead of some of those teams.

Real tough road trip coming up. I'd love to see us still debating our .500 record in another week or so.
