I liked it a lot, especially the hulk scenes. _________________ LakersGround's Terms of Service

Cool flick. Very enjoyable, did for Thor what Winter Soldier did for Cap... Hemsworth definitely proved he can carry his own movie. |

LOVED IT!!
It’s great continuity between Thor & Guardians because the vibe of space in both is the same. |

Anyone caught the longest running joke in the movie?
Almost 2 hours to payoff 1 joke:
Quote: | When we first meet Korg (the rock gladiator) near the beginning of the film, he jokes with Thor that he won't hurt you, unless you're scissors (because rock beats scissors).
Fast forward near the end when Korg accidentally "kills" his friend Meeks (the bug-like creature). Meeks at that time was fighting with scissor-hand blades.
To top it off, Korg also tells Thor that the reason he's still imprisoned was because he failed to institute a revolution -- the reason? He wasn't able distribute the pamphlets.
Korg's weakness was literally paper.

I've lost much faith in rotten after I saw they gave good reviews to that piece of (bleep) movie, IT (2017). I'm convinced the rich studios pay them off to cherry pick good reviews. |

It was entertaining, but I can't take some of the villains seriously when they are constantly the butt of some joke. Surtur is one of Thor's most powerful enemies and he was just a big dumb fire guy. The Grandmaster is another very powerful character in the comics and he's just portrayed as an idiot DJ. |

Villains are always the weak points in superhero movies. Few flicks have gotten them right. |

I laughed once. I think. Movie was so random. The humor was campy. Hemsworth lines from the jump seemed unnatural and his delivery contrived. Bummer. I was hoping to like it. _________________ We back. |

I just hate how his dad and all of his friends died and he spent like 30 seconds mourning his dad and no time mourning his friends. His mother dying in Thor 2 was a huge part of the rest of the movie. |

Best use of immigrant song in a movie ever. Of course Mark mothersbaugh did the music. He and Danny elfman kill it on a consistent basis. |

It's a Chris Hemsworth-carried film. Let's just say that the person I was watching it with was thoroughly entertained. |

They didn't really need to, but they explained what happened to the blonde Valkyrie I knew from Marvel's Silver Age. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |
