I think Lonzo should experiment with different shooting technique because he that one he has is not only ugly but it is bricking badly.

the defense has been such a pleasant surprise. This level of commitment and play on that end will get them to 35+ wins if they sustain it all season. |

He is shooting bad on purpose with leads to keep his team defending.
Don't worry, it is all part of the Master Plan! _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Lopez and KCP kept us steady. |
Not surprising that a kid like Zo was getting shaky but the vets kept calm. Don't know what JC's excuse is though. |
So the best players on this team are the guys who wont be here next year? |
not if they accept the veteran min |

Meanwhile, if Paul George wants to avoid playing for a team with a losing record, he should dump OKC and play for the Lakers.
I just had to throw that one in while I can. |

Honestly that is almost all teams. Very few (basically the title contenders) don't have this issue on a consistent basis. The fact we are even having this type of discussion right now is very promising for this very young team. |

Just as an aside...while his shooting has been annoying his passing rebounding and even defense have been noteworthy. He has made bro and others look very good just by setting them up. |

They play D like this all year they will win 40+ games...this team can create headache matchups for alot of clubs..Memphis tonight was having an issue with their length and quickness most of the evening.
That was a very good team the lakers just beat. |

Just tempering expectations
Defense, Kuzma and next step from BI are what I am most happy about. |

to all of those hating on Lonzo...
Which rookie has more impact than him right now than "sophomore" Simmons?
Fultz hurt
Fox and Smith Jr. Bottom dweller teams
Tatum-Ball ties him in rebs way better in assists
Jackson-mediocre rebounder not that better as a shooter
Kuzma-he's on our team _________________ Trade AD now. |

Lonzo has shot decent his whole life. He's missing shots he has made his whole life. It's mental right now. Once he gets a couple good games in things will change |

majority of the players in the game have confidence he'll get his shots to fall...eventually. _________________ Trade AD now. |

Not gonna lie this win felt extra good since Memphis has owned us forever.
Just had this vibe from the start of tip off where the Grizzlies never had control and they looked totally clueless on how to guard us.
Our team defense has been amazing.
Normally Memphis is the ones kicking our ass on defense.
Tonight we flipped the script on them and it was beautiful basketball! _________________ "Tryin' to get that Kobe number, One Over Jordan"

Loving the love everyone is showing for the win.
One note: Marc has a foot injury. Was questionable for today. I expect a better game from him when/if he's healthy. |

Could have helped in the scoring/shooting department.
He averages 20 a game on 46% shooting (39% from 3).
Tonight: 6-18 33% (2-9 on 3s 22%) for 15 points.
Didn't he look a step slow on D? Or is that his normal speed these days? |

Blew lead because we slowed down and wanted to burn clock in 2nd half or maybe our starters just ran out of gas as they all played a lot of minutes. KCP made game winning steal and sealed the game with a bucket in the last minute so it's all good. |

Tatum joined a team expected to win the east and has 2 all stars, and simmons is a sophomore.
The answer is Kuzma is def playing better than zo, but he's ours. _________________ Creatures crawl in search of blood, To terrorize y'alls neighborhood. |

He didn't make shots, he turned the ball over, and a ton of points were scored right in his face. Brook outplayed him in every facet of the game. |

Lonzo has to work on his shot. He's missing wide open attempts.
Some say he should work on his mechanics, I don't think so. He shot 55% at UCLA. The only thing that's changed is the stage. Magic had the same problem when he came into the league.
IMO what's lacking is confidence in his shot. He's starting to shoot more and I believe his % will improve.
I'm still on the hope we make the playoff bus. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
